This amp is actually so underrated, it plays SO many different tones SO well. Im hoping to try it with a strat cuz I have a les Paul special at the moment but I can go from a nice clean tone to a Metallica tone and even an old 60s vox-ish tone
Going to buy Mustang III. Hope it's awesome... well, can't do else than jump around the yard cuz I'm waiting it so much.. O_O Oh, and how loud it is? Not wattage, just tell me that loudness.
@yerfdog1935 Me and some friends maxed it and managed to play withput the drums stealing the show, but maybe, maybe not :D you might want to go for the mustang 2
@yerfdog1935 Well were were not a lot of people. I do think you should by mustang 2 or 3 when thinking about. I guess you are going to play in front of a lot of people ;D And high school students might be louder. we just tried out playing for like my class. never tried it on a bigger gig :P
@Artinmallproductions Oh, just your class? At the talent show there's usually between 200 and 300 at the most, and they're usually pretty quiet during the performances. Though, then again, there are a lot more shitheads in the freshman class this year that I'm sure will try to heckle a few people on stage. >_>
Great amp!!!Something I need to ask before buing it...can the tap button be used as the delay and tremolo tempo???I mean by pressing it faster o slower does the effect change???
@WachaDrop ----Of course superchamp is better but its much more expensive. Trust me if your budget is short, theres no better amp out there. In fact, concerning the price/quality relationship, this amp rapes your superchamp
@screnplay Well, I'm all about tone. I'll pay another 1000$ if the tone blows me away. I see what you mean though, budget wise it is better than Line 6 stuff. Saying it "rapes" the super champ though? haha come on man.. that's way too far. I'm selling my superchamp anyway for a twin reverb =D
@WachaDrop OK, maybe i went too far but i guess you got my point. I mean of course you cant count on this for a real gig, but its very nice for begginers to intermediate players, who just wanna rock and record their own stuff xD

if this "USB connection without latency" sooo good, why do they recording guitars with mics? -_-
MrBarb0ss 1 month ago
@MrBarb0ss - If you can record with a mic it will sound better than with a USB connection, that has nothing to do with latency =)

my mustang didn't come with a dvd
trinity9704 2 months ago
@trinity9704 This amp shouldn't have a DVD. But if you mean the program Fender Fuse, you can download it here: fuse.fender.com
If you have other problems, contact the music store that you purchased the amp from.

This vs peavey vypyr. My pap says this is better. I think I'm going with this. Plus it has fuse

Does this amp produce Metallica type distortion level very well? That really heavy distortion.
2rude 4 months ago
@2rude Try it out and see what you think of it. But yes, you can get a very distorted sound out from it.

would the series 4 be any use for gigging
dontbeable 4 months ago
@dontbeable It all depends on the size of the gig, but I would say to a smaller gig och club gig.
