grinding heroics are easy they might as well just give you the epics and just because someone asks you to do something easy, over an over does not make it a challenge or hard to get and it pissed off alot of people on my server who got tier from killing the bosses which is more challenging than grinding heroics. And yes i did play wow but now i'm just bored of it cause its not fun anymore.

I'm leaving WoW because of the grind needed just to gear up... :-( If Aion can provide me fun and epic fantasy adventure without too much grind, I'm in. It makes me think of Guild Wars: It's about bringing skill and tactics to the game, not your gear.

If you really think you need to grind in WoW for gear this game isnt for you WoW spoons feed people everything and this is much more challenging and takes alot more effort to get gear

WoW doesn't spoon feed people. No matter how you cut it, hardcore or casual, you have to do heroic dungeons over and over and over to gear up, with no guarantees you'll get even a single one in a day. And when it comes to higher level raids, it's the same thing. The token system to buy gear may ease that, but it will be slow going even if for the guy with the whole day to play. Doing something laborous and repetitive is boring and not fun- that's what a grind is.

Also, do not mistake "challenge" for "grind". They're two totally different things. Challenge requires overcoming something with careful planning, skillful play and solid tactics. Grind means doing something monotonous, rote and boring, regardless of that chore being hard or easy. I'd rather be challenged to get gear, rather than have to work at as if it was my job.

WoW does spoon feed people everything, my point is that anyone now can get gear and all they need to do is run heroics thats how sad it is and that's why it isn't challenging, even the raid content is easy. And running an instance for a peice of gear you want 13 times is considered grinding so your out of luck if you do not like grinding for equipment it will be that way for most games

Grinding is not spoon feeding. Having to do an instance 13 times over 13 days is not getting it on a silver platter. It makes even the most exciting tasks bland and tiresome. It's asking you to work when you're supposed to be playing.

I'll take my chances with Aion having a better gear drop system than WoW. This isn't the 1st time I've played an NCSoft game, so I trust them enough to limit the grind for items, or even to make it fun and exciting.

WoW isn't a good game. It's a SMART game. I say this because WoW is the first MMO that casual gamers AND hardcore gamers can jump into and play. Other than that it's done NOTHING that Ashron's Call, Anarchy Online, EverQuest, or any other old school MMO hasn't already done years ago.

Graphics DO NOT make the game. Sure we're used to everything being pretty these days, but gameplay wise? Story wise? Character wise? Graphics are nothing but a shell.

Some of the best games ever are running on 2D, 8bit, 16bit, or 64but graphics.

WoW has done nothing new in terms of the essentials (gameplay, story, etc etc) that AC, AO, EQ, SB, and a slue of the other classics haven't already done.

I'm so sick of all this WoW praise. It's such a shallow MMO.

Looks alot like an upgraded version of Lineage II. Also this is made by NcSoft soo it will fail in my eyes because i have tried 5 of NcSofts MMOs and none were pleasing. Max flight time is around 3 mins and only like the highest lvl of people get max time mostly everyone has like a 20 second fly time and you hardly can fly anywhere but you can glide everywhere but usually only down a hill(which is pretty much useless) there are hardly any places where you can actually "fly".
