Naw that would be really stupid, esp. for someone aspiring for their PHD(BTWyou nailed him on that one).LongstoryshorthisFBfriendsRfriendly.
@Lamboragon No I do not think, or never believed, you were a troll. I still dont think so and nothing will convince me of the later either. Ive seen trolls acting out and they are way smarter and organized than you.
@Lamboragon Ok Sheeporagon, gotta catch my plane. TTYL, your homework: learn about the notion of determinant, eigenvalues and eigenvectors. Ill be pleased to school you in any of those notions for free and out of pure and sincere generosity later on.
Pretending to troll in order to not loose faces when being owned like a little bitch, how elegant. I wasnt expecting anything less of you actually so Im not suprise. Youre not a troll, just a bitter loser.
@Lamboragon LOL, its true but hey, whatever I say youll just twist it around to your own liking. Regardless, if I were into kinky gay sex or just into hot asian girls it would still be more than what you and that pathetic masturbaton of yours you call a hand will ever get in your mechanical douchery sorry ass life. Enjoy your 9 to 5 schedule ordinary and boring man !
God job on the spelling BTW, its nice to be corrected by such an authority as yourself.
@Lamboragon Maybe, maybe not, who cares ? I enjoy writing this plus Im in transit between planes here at Taichung (Im going to Bangkog for the week). Ill try to remember this conversation (I doubt I might) while getting a BJ on the beach sipping mojitos while youre (alternate ?) self will look for other easy way out to talk himself out of an embarassing situation that only emphasises how much lonely and shallow his existence truly is.
@Lamboragon In fact they might, I dont care at all. Owning a respectable income is always a plus, but it sure as hell doesnt equate to your intellect if that is what your referring to (Im actually sure you are referring to that). Good luck running all your life after that high income stature youre so found of with your half-ass physics education and poor math skills (I actually had 11-12 yold korean or chinese pupils way ahead of you in that sector already).
@Lamboragon No, youre worst than an amateur as amateurs by definition actually enjoy and take interest in what theyre studying, youre a phony worried about self-image. You also failed linear algebra it seems as the statement "solving a matrix" you just made makes absolutely no sense whatsoever in terms of resolution of linear (or non-linear) equation systems. So much for your future in computer engineering, who would hire such a cheap hack incapable of using basic terminology?
@Lamboragon LOL, who said I was in Quantum Physics ? Thats why you suck so much, youre supposed to be physics litterate by curriculum yet you had you ass handed to yourself by an amateur :P Yeah I know Mechanical engineering. is trash, thats were all the dropouts and clueless noobs end up. At least you could have gotten into a program with more balls like software, electrical or physical. Knowing that you are already in a subpar establishment isnt reassuring either.
@Lamboragon Meh I doubt it as my IQ is rather low and still I can read you like a child . The way you spell Ph.D. also says much about your potential but hey as long as I kicked your ass in this particular thread, its all good to me :).
@Lamboragon Well Im no therapist, its good you have an actual diagnosis. I just had a hunch because due the aspect of wanting to "seduce" people with what you would consider to be an ideal in life (being at Harvard and following the progress of state of the art research). Announcing yourself superiority as an intelectual by pretending to master fluid dynamics is anoter hint. Being alone and feeling unappraciated tends to make you creat an ideal of your own inside your head I guess.Sad stuff :/
@Lamboragon No need to, as fluid dynamics was never on topic. You choosed to bring it on topic hoping that ''complicate non-linear dynamics'' would intimidate me and give you the appearance of being smart and all-knowing of the entire field of physics. Well, it doesnt. It makes you look like an insecure asshole to be honest. That and stating bluntly that QM is all about solving ''wave equations", something that is usually taughted in elementary college courses.
@Lamboragon You sound more and more like some californian spoiled little girl who's daddy got her a brand new car. Hell, maybe you are after all. Just remember that will all that fancy curricular and all that money spend on courses you got your ass kicked by a nobody on the internet.
@Lamboragon LOL, it seems to me your about to snap. Who said anything about grammar ? I merely pointed out the spelling the "Navier-Stokes". You can cry and brag all you want, quite irrationally I must say, how much youre educated and are superior. Thing is I dont care. Keep using that circular logic of yours and trying to intimidate people with that "elitist image" youre so found of if it makes you more secure, sad reality is youre just a phony. Now go hit that bottle of Jack some more...
@Lamboragon Its also astonishing to see such a moron pretending to know about QM yet his idea of it is limited to friggin wave mechanics and the Schrodinger equation. I suggest you learn about second quantization before making yourself look like a moron again.
@Lamboragon Its Navier-Stokes FYI. And yes, Im all too familiar with non-linear differential equations and know their implication in elementary engineering courses. Youre not impressing anyone here. And QM is not about solving diff. eqations so no wonder you do not understand anything about it. Keep flashing your "knowledge" to your dumbass friends at frat parties, theyll be the only ones impressed by your superficial skills, I assure you.
@Lamboragon You do not know that as youre only basing you arguments on popular awareness and publicity. Theres lots of highly specific fundamental research fields that looked really promising in the past to only sink in total oblivion later on.
Thanks for proving my point that you have no idea of what you talking about either in terms of fundamental science as you are clearly avoiding my simple inquiries. No just because your teacher said so is not enough for me.
@Lamboragon Great, therefore answer the 3 basic questions Ive asked you and then we can have something ressembling a conversation. Otherwise quit yapping about your curricular or your superior entourage and get to the point.
@Lamboragon Im not ;). It amazes me how people in apparently "higher education" institutions are so full of shit and wont bother making fools of themselves by engaging in topics they dont even have a clue on what theyre talking about.
@Lamboragon No I think youre just a typical Harvard student (in economics mind you) who thinks he knows better than everybody else because he heard one day that QC would become really really big and so much money could be made out of it. Youre just following popular science, basing your empty arguments on research done at MIT that you couldnt dream of ever understanding at the most elementary level. Youre just admiting your ignorance by trying to intimidate me with your "smart professors".
@Lamboragon I never said we musnt dream, theres a difference between projection and hands-down charlatanism. Instead of asking how its flawed and unrealistic so far, why dont you explain to me how will the chosen architecture in ten years will look like ? Please avoid to simply reply: solid state (duh) I wanna know: How do you manage to couple a system as ridiculously small as 3 qbits at will ? How do you measure its dynamics ? How do you scale it to something remotely useful ?
@Lamboragon Your physics professor are full of shit and in need of fundings. Thats why they make speculative science that sounds real good to investors. I'm sure it was thought that communicating across the world in an instant was seen as impossible in the past. I'd say find topics you can explore and advance instead of criticizing the work of other academics. It's very easy to say "that doesn't work" and walk away. There is working hardware, end of story. The science works, and it's in its infancy stage. There is limited utility in any new science, but you get exponential gains in acceptance as applications are developed for any system.
A quantum super computer would be levitated and only laser light and magnetic signals would be processed no electrical circuits only photo-voltaic laser memory symbols of ones and zeros are processed. Reflection of light is monitored on how fast laser light glowing cells can recognize the ones meaning light on and zero when light is off measuring like a strobe light; I ask how fast can a solar cell recognize laser strobe light: infinite is the answer
IT's got to be hard to examine or determine a quantum state. I wonder if it's like examining an actual atom in it's natural state, but in it's natural state, it gives off no energy to record an image, but if you give it energy to radiate, then it's in an excited state.. this whole thing confuses me, I'm not getting it LOL it's gotta be hard as hell tho

so in h_n, n=28=m at the moment and in J_nm only the diagonal and the numbers near it can be != 0 ?
with the pictures they precomputeed, which featurepoints where most likely to be the same to get it down to 3 comparisons?
also the perspective(angle to normal) is very important to the algorithm.
what determines how long it takes? what kind of computation, needs a change on the "knobs"? optimising doesn't, aside from anealing?
nice but not that applicable yet (Dec. 2007).
