No. Absolutely not. It needs 2GB of RAM for Vista, which this lacks. It also needs a 2.0Ghz Pentium 4 or better, which it lacks.

There is also no way in HELL that The Sims 3 will run well, albeit at all, with that graphics card. So, tough shit.

I'm watching this on exactly the same laptop (except I have the special croc skin on the back, instead of pink) even though, there's nothing exciting. And don't choose this if you're planning on gaming - World of Warcraft plays just barely OK, but this laptop won't stand a chance against next-gen games like Call of Duty 5, GTA IV, etc..
