To adjust my basses pickups height i find it best to use my ears and a fast reacting VU meter (DIGITAL)!

The pickup should at the height where it sounds the best, and that depends both on

the specific pickup and the player!

HELP!

the bridge pickup on my bass seems to be stuck in place. when i adjust the screws it doesn't move and the screw just keeps going. this happens on one side but not the other. any suggestions??

@digismash  the magnet- that's the part that is actually picking up the sound, at it's height above the plastic may vary slightly from bass to bass
