@martinirye The official announcement was made on August 6th, 2010, and was reported by most major Norwegian media, such as TV2 Sporten, Oppland Arbeiderslad, Verdens Gang, Aftenposten, and even on the official Larvik Håndballklubb website. Very sad, indeed.

It does seem a bit prophetic, in the light of the recent events surrounding Katja and Gro, doesn't it? Initially, my idea was to show how Gro and Katja had been struggling with the decision to stay with FCM or not; but now, I can see how there might have been a subconscious part of me that could see the writing on the wall...
@KASFAN I know it's no joke, KASFAN! It does feel like a bad joke, though. I absolutely cannot wrap my mind around the fact that Katja and Gro are history. Too bad, indeed.
@Nilshaira3 Thanks! Both Gro and Katja have signed a 2-year contract with Larvik Håndballklubb (Larvik HK), which will extend until 2012. They have also confirmed their return to the Norwegian women's national handball team. Larvik HK's first match of the 2010-2011 season will be on September 5th, 2010 (see larvikhk.no for more details). I believe their first comeback match with the national team will be at the 2010 Women’s European Championship, beginning on December 7th, 2010.
Oh and 2:17, I could cry. Poor Katja
