  • I just watched a show where a US Navy Seal tried to replicate the shot.

    He was a total FAIL

  • Craig Harrison of the British Household Cavalry beat the shot by Rob Furlong. It's just a record. Someone else will beat it eventually.

If they met the snipers wouldn't be arguing, they'd be discussing kit, rifles, ammo and beer.

The rest of you need to grow up a little.

  • @OABW4RR10R you forgot about discussing woman

  • @AlbertaCanada420 I stand corrected lol!

  • funny it was a fucking British sniper craig Harrison took 2 consecutive shots and killed to men at at 2.47 KM with a .338 lupua l115a3

  • for me the Canadian and German sniper are the most elite in that job

  • Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that I have enjoyed reading all of your comments and words of support. Over the years I have had many people attempt to contact me for various reasons (what was my experience in the military like, or what type of rifle they should buy). I have constructed a Facebook account, so I can stay in contact with everyone and answer any questions you might have. Hope to talk to you soon, take care. Ret.Cpl.Rob FURLONG.

  • @robfurlong I am shocked.....Nice to meet you rob and i am hopping the info i added is right. I am shocked that the man that beat the record sent a message on my video about you. Thank you for your service to Canada we all appreciate it!

  • Four Canadian soldiers were killed and eight others injured when U.S. Air National Guard Major Harry SCHMIDT, dropped a laser-guided 500 lb bomb from his F-16 jet fighter on the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry conducting a night firing exercise near Kandahar. Schmidt was charged with negligent manslaughter, aggravated assault, and dereliction of duty. He was fined nearly $5,700 in pay and was reprimanded. The Canadian dead received US medals for "bravery," but no apology.

  • funniest part of this is. he used American ammo to get the shot because the canadian ammo couldnt get out there to make the record stuff

  • ever heard about the british craig harrison?

search for him in Google and you'll know....

  • @bobodobo9 Coropol og Horse Craig Harrison has the longest sniper kill

  • Is it really that impressive to beat a bunch of uneducated, untrained, starving, sandal wearing cavemen with rusty old AK-47s?

  • @jamesodinson even they would beat your little ass to a pulp.

  • oh look people on YouTube bitching, they all must of came from some gay orgy and was like let's go cry on you tube about a video, because we have no lives...

  • Thank you Canada! Our favorite next door neighbor! ;)

  • @AlbertaCanada420 check out the youtube vid : /watch?v=81bZ8V7Teu8&feature=fvst

Canada may not have nukes, but it is widely recognized of having the capability of making them.

  • @Toronto324 Yes they are without looking at the video. We have made the Avro Canada CF-105 Arrow

But sadly back in WW2 it was dissembled before it was off to war. Why? The technology was to high back then and jets was not out at that time! So the worlds best jet back in that time would of made history and Canada made it!

  • @Toronto324 Role Interceptor

    Manufacturer Avro Aircraft Limited (Canada)

    First flight 25 March 1958

    Status Cancelled 20 February 1959

Primary user Royal Canadian Air Force

Produced 1957 (project design initiated: 1953)

Number built 5 (No. 6 was 93% complete, all others in various states of completion) [1][2]

    Unit cost $3.5–5 million[3

  • @falcondriver100 CANADA IS THE STRONGEST NATION ON THE EARTH. EVER SINCE 1946 the US tried to invade canada, yet they always failed because... of FEAR. Canada is the only nation on earth capable of making the most Nuclear bombs to destroy the whole world. its despite that Canada has the most hydro electric power on the earth. In even as 90 days Canada could make so much nukes that it could destroy the whole world. for more INFO. visit : watch?v=81bZ8V7Teu8&feature=fvst

  • @Toronto324 You do not have your facts right at all except the US invaded Canada in the war of 1812.

There not in fear of US They need Canada for resources like oil and gas. There not going to invade we have been brothers since 1840 fighting to be free and stopping war on the world (peace keepers)

Canada don't have nukes so i have no clue were you got your ideas from but there wrong.

No one will Invade Canada To big & US brothers beside us. US & Canada will not have a war on each other.

  • @Toronto324 your a moron... why would we invade a allie and plus a country that literally walking distance.... besides our smallest statre will kill u all lol us is the secound strongest country israel is the strongest btw do canada even have a military lol come on dude wat makes u think we would fight a country that lives next dor to us

  • @Toronto324 beside canada didnt make nukes america japan russia germany i think thats all but canada doesnt have any nuclear bombs

  • @unmi1231 Correct but Canada is widley recognized of having the capability of making them though.

  • @Toronto324 simply having the biggest stick DOES NOT mean you are the strongest nation on the earth, asshat.

  • @masterchief1425 Don't mock Canada Just mock Toronto324

  • @AlbertaCanada420 i wasn`t mocking anyone, guys like that toronto324 tend to do that to themselves.

  • @masterchief1425 Good point. Yes its people like him that put a black mark on Canada

  • @masterchief1425 Yes, it actually does. In modern wars. Launching nukes will make any nation surrender because if they don't...then there's no nation to surrender.

  • @damanwidaplans what modern wars?last time was hiroshima and nagasaki, which were leveled with relatively small yield nukes.did iraq surrender because of nukes?did `stan?nope.Wars are fought with a toolbox my friend, there is a tool for each job.

  • @masterchief1425 Iraq isn't really a 'modern war'. More like a little skirmish between a big nation and a small one. If any nation endangers any of the big nations, nukes will be launched. Just because Iraq didn't have the ability to do so, doesn't mean big nations wont use them.

  • Spc Garret Reppenhagen a sniper in the US Army said his first experience in Iraq was being on a patrol that killed two Iraqi farmers as they worked in their field at night. "I was told they were out in the fields farming because their pumps only operated with electricity, which meant they had to go out in the dark when there was electricity, I asked the sergeant why did he fire on the men as he knew this. He told me because the men were out after curfew."

  • @lesdoyle2000

That's war for you. Ironic that citizens are brainwashed into believing that their soldiers are heroes who are fighting for the greater good. They are not. Don't get me wrong, they are certainly brave. But anyone who is fighting a phony unnecessary war is not a hero. WW2 veterans are heroes, they fought for a legit cause. Today's soldiers are brainwashed until they go out on the battlefield - which is when they realise what it's really all about - but they do have balls.

  • @TheGlowingKnight

    Your right.

    Thumbs up

  • @TheGlowingKnight i agree AND disagree with you. i agree cause war really is pointless and it shouldn't exist but i disagree with you cause sometimes the only options are going to war or having your country violently taken over(and losing millions of civilian lives in the process). take WWII for example, the Japanese attacked the US and if the US hadn't fought back the Japanese would have just kept attacking and eventually took over America. same goes for all the countries Hitler attacked.

  • @TheGlowingKnight I agree with you in the aspect, the wars nowadays are over money, and power which are two very pointless things to be fighting over. However, you have no right to state that all people who join the military are brainwashed. They are there on their own accord and can leave whenever they want. They choose to represent their country and protect what they believe is worth protecting. If you can't stand behind your soldiers, feel free to stand in front of them.

  • @chewane HELL YEAH!!! Let them become the the meat shields! We are volunteers we fight for our love of the country and the people (Even though there are a few Trolls here and there. ). Most of us joined because of 911to avenge the people who died senselessly by terrorists. I fight to keep my brothers safe on a mission so they can go home and see their families and as a Corpman they make it in one piece.

Don't let them get to you bro. What has this Troll ever done to help his fellow man?

  • U.S + Canada > Anyone (well... besides Israeli elites... they're insane....)

  • the best sniper are: Greeks,Canadian, americans

  • Canadians and Afghans are the best at killing seals.

  • @lesdoyle2000 You have no idea what Canada is best at. Keep to your self. I have family that's in Afghanistan right now. One came home in a body bag.

  • If were going to invade countries for oil then you have to expect they will come home in a bag.

    Afghans are brave warriors.

    RESPECT

  • @AlbertaCanada420 wow im sorry man

  • @lesdoyle2000 Shut the fuck up you pig. Seriously, just shut the fuck up.

  • Brian Casler, a Marine, spoke of witnessing the prevalent dehumanizing outlook soldiers took toward Iraqis during the invasion of Iraq. "I saw Marines defecate into MRE bags or urinate in bottles and throw them at children on the side of the road"

  • @lesdoyle2000 Sure, because 1. We have proof of that....

    2. Those marines, as despicable as that act is, are a small amount of marines, they're are thousands brave soldiers fighting for what's right. Including members of my family.

    3. You don't think the enemy does worse? You think the U.S marines are the only ones to do awful acts like that? If that's what you think, you're an ignorant moron.

• ёбаные пиндосы

  • a reasons why some canadians are so good at shooting is because they grow up on farms and shoot gophers with a 22 or bb guns. i can shoot a gopher 50 yrds no scope. of course there are other reasons too.

  • what is the name of that song??

    please...i need to download it!

  • canada kicks ass

  • stick the freaky children's music in your bum

  • You guys have it all wrong man. If you take the time to notice how we hold our sporting tools in Canada's official national sport Lacrosse and of course Hockey should be enough of a hint to figure things out...

  • You Guys Are All wrong The Longest Sniper Kill Was 39.3 Miles Away!!

It Was Made in A Remote Jungle By Some American Sniper He Crawled For 2 weeks On HIS STOMACH threw German Troops And Tanks And Vechiles!

  • @10thlegitt thats anything, there's no riffles can shoot at 39 miles and no scopes can see that far.....if so,send me a link to prove it !

  • @lekingreg it impossible as of horizon.

  • @MrFreedomrequired sorry i dont understand,what do you mean ?

  • @MrFreedomrequired The horizon or curvature of the earth at 16 miles would make it impossible to shoot a target 39 miles away......unless of course you couold go matrix and curve the bullet.....or lob a round such as artrillary.......but a straight sniper shot pretty much impossible........Does that help :) Cheers!

  • oorahh, to canadian, british, and the united states military :D

  • @MrNaryal go fuck your self buddy canada is way better then the us so go suck on your mothers dick

  • Craig Harrison, of the British Household Cavalry did break Rob Furlong's record. My understanding is that there is a new shot that breaks even that record.

If you put Harrison and Furlong in a room together they wouldn't argue. They'd compare notes and congratulate each other.

Why Does it matter to all you kids what country holds the record? 99% of you aren't even old enough to wear a uniform but you're all over You Tube bragging and boasting and bullshitting.

    Shut up. Seriously.

  • @OABW4RR10R Amen, but canadians are better... LOl sorry, just wanted to be a dick lol

  • @OABW4RR10R yea the british did beat his shot by only i think 20 feet? cant remember but since it was broken ive had a kill shot at 2.0 km not long but its my record i am in the canadian military as a sniper

  • @meany1023 What Unit?

  • let the cursor hit the mute let the cursor hit the mute let the cursor hit the (tap tap) MMMMMMMMMUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEE

  • just saying... a british sniper beat this in afghanistan. i think this year or last, look it up :)

  • @njordghost why won't you fuck off i keep changing it and people like you keep complaining so why don't you go to hell

  • 338 lapua mag is a 416 rigby case with 33 cal bullet

  • Isn`t there people out there that are tired of war? We continue our progress towards extinction as we celebrate our proficiency at killing people at long range as if it were a sporting event. Let's nominate the sniper for the Nobel.

  • @5xthejoy grow the fuck up

  • @MrLandry618 go suck american dick

  • This music needs to be pink misted by a sniper, horrible.

  • It was a British Sniper who nailed it..Sorry, the Candadian record is lost.

  • @Elvishadabutler

I've heard snipers from Easter Island, United States, Haiti, Britain, Bermuda, and Leichbekastan claiming to have a new record...

Officially, A Canadian Sniper still holds the record.

  • My father = Norwegian sniper ... I show him this vid and he was just like : fuck1ng canadian noobs

  • @retardedBananaXp

Judging by your father's response, I question his integrity, and ability.

  • thats a crazy fucking suppressor

  • The longest range recorded for a sniper kill currently stands at 2,475 m (2,707 yd) and was achieved by CoH Craig Harrison in November 2009.

I don't want to start a country debate as has gone on here already. You have to have respect for the skill and dedication required to pull off such a feat of extreme accuracy.

Without a doubt with the incredible power of the .50 cal, this record will broken at some point. Respect is due to the guys that pull this off where ever they are from!!

  • whats funny is all the wannabe idiots trashing other countries snipers and special forces but when you talk to the real guys who are in the services they have nothing but respect for each other. even the ones they may have to face on a battlefeild one day.

  • SAS & Navy Seals Can take down any target, anywhere.

But Canadian snipers still hold the long distance record -even with an underfunded / neglected military.

  • @Tideliner Were not even underfunded or neglected anymore... we were underfunded and neglected because of the Liberals in the 90's. When Conservatives came in the 2000's, we have one of the highest budgets, best equipped militaries in the world. C.I.A ranked us 10th in the world in 08' even though we are only a military of 100,000 because we have huge capabilities.

  • @SNeyePED

Maybe I've been unfairly comparing Canada's Military to the southern neighbors.

However I watch the 1950's Sea King helicopters on patrol with the Navy's lightly armed "fishing trawlers", and feel for the highly qualified service men/ women operating them.

  • @Tideliner Well, we are getting new helicopters for the navy, and many new ships so we should be good with our equipment in no time.

  • @Tideliner What neglected military?! Our canoes are in tip top shape you asshole!

  • @zdrux Lol good one. :P

  • @Tideliner Sorry to burst your bubble but a british paratrooper now holds the world record

  • @Tideliner

You know shit all about our Military, and you do realize the Navy SEALs have never had a successful mission before?

  • @Tideliner Hey Canada, a British sniper took your record from you...twice...with two shots...u mad lol?

JK mate, so long as we keep the record away from the yanks we'll have something to hang over them ;-)

  • @ihaterobbie123 Rob did his shot to get the mission done not to make a world record. He did not know that at the time!

  • @AlbertaCanada420 and the british guy didnt? he saved the lifes of his section by taking out a 2man machine gun team! the british forces arent like americans who are gun ho and looking to rattle up kills and records

  • @ihaterobbie123

Haiti, Easter Island, USA, Antarctica, and Great Britain have all claimed to have beaten the Canadian record.

Still haven't seen proof of these claims....

  • @Tideliner Look up Craig Harrison, he's the official (confirmed) record holder.

Hey, it's not everyone else's problem if you don't believe documented fact, it's yours. What proof did Rob Furlong have that Craig Harrison doesn't?

  • @i hate robbie 123 i bet he did it with a american made weapon and i bet he had us military training 85% of canadian troops train under american officers at least once in there career.

  • @metalfrommaine The British sniper who currently holds the record did it with a British designed and made Accuracy International rifle in .338 lapua magnum...even the ammunition design isn't American, it's Finnish.

Britain has a strong tradition of marksmanship, if the USA is so much better then why aren't they breaking these records? You have about 10x the number of troops, should be easy.

  • @i hate robbie 123 im sorry you must have gotten the wrong idea or maybe i commented to the wrong person my comment was made to the canadian sniper not the british sniper and by the way the lapua round you speak of is made by many different companies but was invented by master Sergent gregory lapua who was born in oahu hawaii and is currently the head of us heavy weapons development committee.

  • @metalfrommaine "From its American origins, the current .338 Lapua Magnum cartridge was developed as a joint venture between the rifle building company Accuracy International and the Finnish ammunition manufacturer Lapua"

According to wikipedia anyway, I don't claim to be an expert.

And I had the idea you were replying to someone else because you mentioned canadians.

  • @Tideliner

Damn !!! even with a turd for a Campaigner in Chief, the SEALS prove my point (May 1, 2011).

Still think SAS were the on the ground providing info & backup -as they do best...

  • @Tideliner True that. A sniper regardless of which country is not to be taken lightly. They will all put a bullet in your head before you can react.

  • @Tideliner Funny that the usa is trying to gain rights to how we train our snipers. Look at Death tolls, Usa has a much higher rate. Canada Just doesnt dump Billions of dollars into a worthless war

  • @Tideliner Erm...sorry but the record was broken in 2009 by Craig Harrison, of the British Household Cavalry

  • @SirGeneralGreatness who cares... 2 canadian snipers still hold longer kill shots then any american military unit and they did it with american made rifles and ammunition, you also gotta figure theres alot more american snipers in service then canadians, so they have much higher chances of beating the record, yet they still havent... canadian snipers along with most western european nations + australia all have better trained soldiers then america, theres just so few of them

  • @Tideliner Actually British Corporal Craig Harrison killed two Taliban with consecutive shots at a distance of 2.47 kilometres (8120 ft) in Helmand Province, Afghanistan in the November of 2009. Look it up i`m not trolling. Still one hell of a fucking shot though.

  • @screwball000 Who was there to confirm this?

  • @screwball000 well it actually took him 9 shots to get him but still ir was a nice fucking shot

  • @Tideliner Were starting to rebuild our military, since the afghanistan war started, we are pretty high tech now

  • @Tideliner lucky you guys having an underfnded military is great next to our bloated over-hyped underutilyzed hollywood verzion .....not the quanity but the quality...

  • @Tideliner thats cus canada rules, ya thats right i said it :)

  • @Tideliner That's because the snipers are the only thing we fund properly.

  • @Tideliner

Actually British Sniper Craig Harrison has the record for the longest kills - 2 @ 2475meters....with a .338 Lapua!

  • @hollowpoint76 yea but im not sure what a .338 lapua is but the gun actually used was a L115A3 for the kill for craig or unless that is what u say it is i dunno sorry

  • @Tideliner Even if it takes 10 years

  • @Tideliner compared to the SAS and the US military. ya we underfunded But Canada also has the one of the best overall trained soldiers in the world (not specific teams, but as a army). so even thou Canada does not have the best cash, They make damn good use of it

  • @Tideliner umm sorry to say we dont have the record anymore a british soldier took it sorry but ur wrong

  • Thats the spitting image of a kids "boogeyman". Someone in all that ghillie would give a kid a heart attack if he walked out of a kids closet dressed like that!

  • That's confirmed though. NO LIE.. The new world record is not one that will be recorded "officially". But there was a kill southeast of the Afgani border that was on a very high ranking government official by an unnamed member of a Special Forces sniper from a distance of 2740 meters ( 8990 feet). A new world record that can't be "Confirmed".

  • @AlbertaCanada420 Some people just don't understand what Allies mean.

God Bless 'ALL' NATO Forces out there.

  • @AlbertaCanada420 I'm sorry, but if you're going to correct someone's spelling, then at least know how to spell first.

  • ooooh caaannnaaadddaaaa

  • @AlbertaCanada420 ooooo i'm scared of a canadia, that was a mistake by the way, learn how to spell britain

  • @AlbertaCanada420 im from canada! great way to answer some childrens that talks like 20yrs

  • @AlbertaCanada420 firstly, were did u learn english,,,,u spelt britain briton u thick person,,,try and make fun of ur english b4 sum1 elses, and he knows how to spell it,,he just presed the wrong keys,,i should no,,,cus i was at his house :),,also we are british and live in canada so we no all about ur short history,,,,,, and wat hes trying 2 say is the british do ALOT in war and dont get credit,,,cus in the guiness world record book 2011,,the longest kill is currently by a british sniper!

  • @FeatherlessTurkey

That's acually true! Corporal of Horse (equal to an E-5 in the US Army) Craig Harrison of the British Army's Household Cavalry is the deadliest sniper on the planet. He has two confirmed kills of a pair of Taliban machine gunners from a November 2009 engagement south of Musa Qala, Helmand Province, Afghanistan. The shots were GPS confirmed at a range of 2,475 m (2,707 yd), and made with a L115A3 Long Range Rifle chambered for the .338 cal. Lapua Magnum.

  • Comment removed

  • @edwardsweeney24 I agree with AlbertaCa., i think that was inapropriate and unfair towards the canadians if you consider their past involvement in the wars. I can recommend a good movie for a glimpse at the first world war and canadians: Remember Paschendale?

  • @TheAmyas i no he was,,soz,,,and paschendale was british,,,the canadians took the village :)

  • @TheAmyas ive seen that movie, but it was mostly british in paschendaele, i dont know why it was all about the canadians

  • @edwardsweeney24 Just trying to give a picture, anyways canadians tend not to boast war feats(cough cough vimy ridge, beaches of normandy...), they are excellent peace keepers and thats a fact. btw im almost certain the battle in the end was with canadians.

  • @TheAmyas it was both britain and canadian

  • @edwardsweeney24 dude u dont know shit about the canadian forces so fuck off

  • @cdnparatrooper yes i do actually, u have 20,000 troops in your army, 350 planes in your air force and 33 ships in your navy.......which is quite pathetic

  • @edwardsweeney24 it dosn't matter how many weapons you have so long as you know how to use them and if where so crappy how come we never lost a war we took paschendale vimy ridge orenta holland no one else could do it and our military dosen't release full troop numbers so either your wrong or your a terrorist

  • @cdnparatrooper for gods sake, shut up, i was just saying that canada hasnt got the greatist millitary and that is true

  • @edwardsweeney24 no we have the second best this is my last response

  • @cdnparatrooper you dont have a very good millitary

  • @edwardsweeney24 just fuck off you dont know anything about our military soldiers didn't die just so you could call the down

  • @cdnparatrooper i do know about your milliary so u shut up

  • @edwardsweeney24 exactly so just don't say anything

  • @cdnparatrooper i DO know, learn to read retard

  • @edwardsweeney24 just fuck off u have no right to say there crappy we have the second most elite special forces unit in the world the UN even said so

  • @cdnparatrooper and whose the first....the british SAS

  • @edwardsweeney24 yeah canadas best ally

  • good video like the ghillie suits

  • good video like the ghillie suits

  • /watch?v=brooP1eU10I CANADIAN SNIPERS! WATCH IF YOU ARE CANADIAN PLEASE!

  • the longest sniper kill is unconfirmed because they are so far in enemy territory to walk up and see if the bastard is dead

  • @11hok They know exactly how long the shots are, within inches, because the spotter uses a laser ranger.

  • @11hok It was confirmed his *spotter* saw the target and had to direct his designated marksmen where to shoot how many clicks etc etc and the kill was confirmed...

  • @Pcmanx19 This guy knows what he is talking about, even SDM's often have spotters to call everything from ranging to variable differences such as wind, rain, ect...

  • @pimpster122 Indeed.

  • Horrible music. Rob Furlong is THE MAN! I wanna go speeding through Edmonton just so he'll pull me over and then I can get his autograph!
