  • It's strange going from watching Batman, who never smiles, to Superman, who smiles all the time.

  • "Im locking my door at night"

Oh yeah, that's DEFINITELY gonna help protect you Superman

  • Freedom, what's that?

  • Comment removed

  • 1:44 "I'm locking my bedroom door at night." That bitch is fucking retarded. Like Superman is just flying around going "ohhhhhhh I'm gonna go on a random raping spree nowwwww!" lol

  • I was so expecting to hear Kanye's voice @ 1:37

  • darkseid is officially a bastard. He brainwashed superman out of spite; if anything his plans to conquer earth were thwarted by new genesis rather then supes. He's just a spiteful evil bastard.

  • @pirateking193 It was a No-Lose scenario: If Superman conquered Earth then Darkseid would rule it through him. If Superman failed and died, then he gets revenge on Superman for foiling his plans last time. As it is, neither happened but he still had the victory of destroying Superman's reputation.

  • Gah, where can I find the previous parts of this episode? I can't find this episode anywhere!

  • NO ONE MAN SHOULD HAVE THAT MUCH POWER LMAO

  • @theSANDMAN1052 Superman is the... very small percent.

  • it wasn't superman's fault, Darkseid messed him up

  • I laughed when I saw Lex. Sorry, I can't take him seriously anymore...

  • there stupid he treats them like shit and they still love him...hes no god

  • @Mitchelveli they're all gods. his father just brainwashed them all.

  • 1:37 lex in his neck brace and mouth wired shut. lmfao

  • Lois kissing superman is perfect in the series finale!

  • Wow, not even making God bleed is enough, sorry Mickey Rourke.

  • 1:37 lex looks a little peeved

  • darkseid never ever defeat superman... looser hahahahaha

  • @MegaZench but he made him suffer

  • @MegaZench Did Darkseid TRULY lose the spot of the victor at the end of this battle? No, he did not. Look at what he did to Superman, and his reputation. He turned the planet he calls home against him, and he is no longer trusted by anyone. He made Superman truly suffer a fate he could never have seen happen to himself.

  • @GODZILLAANDSOUNDWAVE he did get the shit beaten out of him, and karma did catch up to him in twilight.

  • @pirateking193 You don't get it....

  • Superman: "Curses a locked door, one of my only weaknesses!"

  • Well Mr God got Raped.

Dont fuck with the Man Of Steel.

  • @Montesama He looks like Bruce Wayne at that victory shot.

  • haha lex luthor XD!! *points at lex*

  • so it was after this episode they came out with the JL series

  • 0:05 its the first time I see superman with eyes like that

  • 0:51

    Panty shot.

  • 1:37

I didn't know Luthor listened to Kanye West.

  • @Anim342 lol i was thinking the same thing

  • @Anim342 Other way around.

  • "He's a traitor and a menace." - Guy who sounds a lot like Stan Lee

  • @TheKingOfRuckus That's General Hardcastle, the guy who was trying to kill him with the Kryptonite missile.

  • Seriously I would still trust superman after all this. I mean come on he got brainwashed by a demigod how do you fight against something like that.

  • wat show is this and eps?

  • @lordvader604 Superman the animated series final episode

  • @Montesama aww man for real i gotta see this michael was the best though

  • @Montesama michael Ironside was the best as darkside

  • Superman might have lost the trust of the world (well 90%), but he still has one important thing. Love of a good woman.

  • "If you ask me, the bum ought to go back where he came from".

His planet was destroyed, you stupid asshole! He CAN'T go back where he came from.

*lol* Sorry, but I just couldn't resist. :)

  • 1:44

    Superman: Doors! My greatest weakness!

  • I have to laugh at Lex Luthor, "No one man should have that much power", so says the genius, power-hungry, megalomaniac.

  • Gotta love the woman's voice, I'm locking my bedroom door at nite. Yeah, cos every1 knows besides kryptonite locks r the only thing which can stop SUPERMAN

  • "He's a traitor and a menace!" That voice sounds familiar. Who is it?

  • @PaulAnt2008 General Hardcastle, the guy who worked with Luthor to fight Superman in this episode.

  • Why would you "let go" of killing a god of evil?

  • @SwordStriker Because he's too good a recurring character to kill off.

  • @SwordStriker If i remember it had something to do with Darkseid psychically feeding off of death and destruction.

  • @SwordStriker

    Status Quo Is God.

If Superman kills Darkseid, other DC characters couldn't get thrown at him for their own "this is how much ass I kick" ultimate plot arc.

    Bah.

  • That's a show ending I would expect for a Batman show, not a Superman one! :O I like that they did it though! :)

  • "If you ask me the bum should go back where he came from,"

By the sound of that I'm guessing that soon Superman will face his most evil foe yet... The BNP!

  • where can i watch the whole thing?!

  • People can't be pleased.

When the world watches you and you mess up even once, it is magnified and sometimes that is the only thing remembered. That is the "double-edged sword" a hero carries sometimes.

  • At 0:05, I wonder why the decided to animate him with white eyes. He's usually never animated like that.

  • To the lady who said she's locking her bedroom door at night: Do you really think that's gonna stop Superman?! LOL.

  • y is this the only part i can find..where the 1 part?

  • Warner Bros. Entertainment claimed copyright on it.

  • At least they let us watch the best part "iam many things Kal-el but here iam god!"

  • What the hell!? That's how the season ends?!?!?

  • @bflythe24 That's how the SHOW ended. Hard to believe for a Superman show, eh?

  • 0:44 Best line ever !

  • They really should have incorparated Supergirl/Kara more in STAS she is such an awsome character.

  • lex's neck brace haha

  • 0:05 the first time i see him with fully drawn eyes

  • IT'S BRUCE WAYNE, DUDE!

  • i fucking hate those ingrateful bastard if was superman id be like "oh really let's see who saves your asses when a disater comes!!!!

  • l just don`t get it how darksied ppl would ever care 4 him after treated them as Slavery 4 eternaly?

  • Because he's God on Apokolips. God can do wtv the hell he wants and everyone still loves and worships him while killing themselves and eachother in a desperate bid to earn his favour... Just like the real world.

  • in the real world l would porurly take over against the so called god...

  • So... Why wasn't Batman in any action?

  • because it wasn't a Batman show...

  • @littleboypratk Superman's attack on Earth was worldwide, he and the other heroes were likely just fighting the Parademons elsewhere.

  • 1:38 lex is such a hypocrit, shouldn't that philosophy include him, he is the monetary version of superman, the president doesn't even have the kind of power that's Lex's to wield.

  • yeah, maybe a more accurate lex would have said "only man should have that much power"

  • Darkseid should be the villain for the next Superman movie. Screw Lex Luthor

  • As epic as Darkseid/Superman battle are, Lex tends to be the better villain because he has no superpowers but he still screws the world.

Lex has a similar appeal as Batman in that respect. No super powers, lots of money, and still is an awesome character (although in Lex's case that is a very bad thing).

  • 1:45 "Im locking my bedroom door at night"...yeah that'll do the trick lady

  • LOL, Yeah he lifts tanks on a regular basis. I would sure feel safer with my door locked. ;)

  • @lwilli97 depends.....if the door is made of green kryptonite or not......

  • *sigh* they just don't make cartoons like this anymore

  • at 0:05 superman has eyes

  • That's what you fucking get, Lex!

  • I wonder what Batman was doing through all of this. I can picture him brooding on top of some building one night thinking "Damnit Clark, you moron! You just had to go and get yourself brainwashed, didn't you? I need more kryptonite, grumble grumble grumble. Now I'm going to have to donate money to the 'Reconstruct Metropolis after Superman's Attack' fund. Wonderful." This was an epic STAS episode. What a way to end the series. Next stop, Watchtower.

  • I was wondering the same thing. Except, well... Bats is my fav superhero, but he doesn't get any krypotonite till Justice League starts up.

I was thinking more along the lines of superheroes like Captain Atom or Captain Marvel. The Green Lantern Corps, too.

  • In the Batman Beyond crossover with JLU it shows Bruce telling the young apprentice Batman that when Superman went bad he wasn't prepared and that after he would make sure he would not be caught off guard again, hence the reason why he caries kryptonite all the time in the JL series.

  • @icebreaker316

After that, Superman gives Batman a super bitchslap, knocking his head clean off.

  • LMAO... I thought Darkseid looked hallarously fucked up after he got his ass handed to him by Superman at scene 0.18. That was until I saw Lex Luthor at scene 1.38.

  • hahahhahahah funnny as helll

  • It makes me wonder how badly Doomsday beat Darkseid. IF Superman can do that to Darkseid, as well as pound him across Metropolis in the last ep of JLU, imagine what something like Doomsday could do, and I did hear of a comic Darkseid tried to use Doomsday only to get his ass handed to him by DD.

  • @WystenDraco Cartoon Darkseid is far weaker than the actual comic version, btw Doomsday beat a Fake Darkseid, an avatar, not the real one.

Darkseid's beat Superman more times than Supes has him and he usually beats Superman with a slap or punch only when he's serious or not depowered by plot device #367.

  • @BlackShadowGX

well you can't have comic anybody be fully selfed on TV or in cartoons, you'd get canceled right quick for either unbelievability or violence. I personally think Darkseid is too powerful in the comics and like cartoon DS much better, he's more believable. But thanks for pointing out facts and details I missed. I'll have to reread my old comic collection, it's been years since I read them.

  • @WystenDraco Umm he's a God, he's not suppose to be realistic or believable. Besides his character is just as well done in comics as in this show. But thanks to this show people think Darkseid is a Superman villain and it brings him down too far imo. He's the God of Evil, he's mere presence puts other Gods on notice.

I'm sorry but I hate putting realism on characters that never supported it. To me that's the death of cinema and fiction as a whole, nobody is willing to separate from reality.

  • @WystenDraco I'm not saying your wrong, but to me I hate reality, when I pick up a movie/comic/video game I want to escape to another world where our laws may not apply to theirs.

Jack Kirby's New God's is such a beautiful story that takes me away, and it's written well that I love to see these characters and what they're going through and their power levels are not a hindrance.

To me saying you can't write good stories with gods cause they're powerful is BS. Sorry if I went fanboy there :P

  • @BlackShadowGX I never meant to put it that way, I'm speaking as an PBEM RPG owner. I just think there should be balance, I always believed everyone needs a nemesis. I personally run an RPG on yahoo that crosses DC and Marvel, where I myself play Darkseid, because its very hard to find a player who is experienced enough as a player and isn't going to make a big mess with him, by having him go around busting every person and place up unchecked, like one player did.

  • @WystenDraco Playing Darkseid without ruining the game is hard, because as he states, he is a god.

On another note, I'd love to join that RPG of yours.

  • @alkayurie yup it is, it' why I have rules that make it so other gods can fight him and stand a chance.

I warn you, there's alot of XXX in my group, it's an adult group in that regard, and you'd be the third active player to join. My other player is someone I've RPedwith for years and he has characters, a demon and a sorceress who are more powerful than the gods. He shares my view that godmoding is an opinion, I allow very powerful made characters long as they're not unbeatable.

  • @WystenDraco Just so long as the XXX isn't over the top, I'm totally cool with it. Could you pm me a link?

  • @alkayuriev I'd say he was more like a demigod, but hey, this is frickin' Darkseid. Of course he's going to sell himself as a god.

  • 1:39 hahaha

  • on the dvd, there's an audio commentary on this episode and bruce timm explains how they were gonna have superman tell lois he's clark in this episode... which they would have actually done it! it would have been great! ah, whatever, at least they finally kissed! :) awesome series finale, but i wish there was more! i miss this series... well, time to re-watch some batman beyond and justice league!!!! lol

  • 1:29 thats the trecherous little rat who cloned supergirl and grew Galiteya

  • Or WILL clone supergirl and grow Galiteya. Thanks entirely to what happens in this episode.

  • LMAO at Luthor @ 1:38

  • Haha, why'd they bother asking his arch nemesis anyway? Isn't his answer gonna be obvious?

  • is this the last episode?

  • Yep. And from there they transitioned to Justice League.

  • Justice League follows this. The events of this episode would have lasting effects there throughout the entire show.

  • wen i saw the related videos i thought this was bane breaking superman

  • Seen 'em all now. Awesome series.

  • this was just on tv

  • I'm locking my bedroom door at night? Who is she trying to keep out, The penguin?? LOL

  • lol hahaha, i know right

  • kara zor el knew that this is what DS wanted, he didn't care about winning hand to hand or he wouldn't have pwned himself with his own beams, it was about morally beating superman and he did it.

  • oh one other thing I forgot to add...Dan was so great that it wasn't until after this episode that I actually accepted he was dead. I'd convinced myself he had just been taken prisoner =,(

  • the fight scene was almost as intense as the joker death scene in BB:ROTJ.

  • despues de esto tienen que ver el episodio de liga de la justicia " anochecer" increible

  • I can't believe how proud of myself I am for being able to understand that...lol sorry

  • Darkseid broke those people so much, they knew nothing other than obeying him

  • 1:38 LOL got what he deserved.

  • Luthor: No one man should hold that much power.

Pot, meet kettle. Kettle, meet pot.

  • 0:13 Where did the crowd go?

  • Ya sure Darkseid...if you were god on your planet, shouldn't you have won? You should have said you were greatly respected, you emphasized on yourself a bit much.

  • I don't know about the rest of you, but I for one thought this particular episode/movie/miniseries was much more entertaining, apocalyptic, and worth watching than that Superman:Doomsday animated feature.

Something like this is what Superman needs. For the next live-action movie, let's actually have Superman deal with the people's wavering trust in-between slugging it out with some other super-powered being.

  • yeah, i only watched superman:doomsday for the fight. other than that, the story sucked. i don't even know why they put "doomsday" there because he died half way and the story took a u-turn from there...

  • I agree, does anyone else think Darkseid should be the villan in the next Superman Movie?

  • hell yeah, he's the best supervillan.

  • no not yet. darkseid will probably be the one in the last couple of movies. If anyone should be the enemy it should be brainiac.

  • I don't care if this is wrong for me to state this or not, but regardless Darkseid should have been killed.

  • to be couttinued.... yah into justice leaugue.

  • 1:45 I'm locking my bedroom door at night!

  • yeah, like that would help

  • good for him

  • 1:33 go Jimmy!

  • superman's gettin laid!!!

  • Man of steel. Woman of tissue paper...

Sorry, I stole that line. ;)

  • @sinjinthule Actually, it's women of Kleenex.*

But don't worry, you were close enough.

*The only he could get it on with Earth women is if he had a shard of Blue Kryptonite, which only turns his powers off, instead of causing him intense physical pain.

  • 0:32-0:52

Super special awesome turn of events!

  • So, from this episode, it goes to Justice League?

  • 0:05 is easily one of my favorite shots of Superman in any medium, period.

  • I can see why he loathes Darkseid now.

  • This is one of the most mature endings in a cartoon.

  • "I'm locking my bedroom door at night"

Yeah, like that will keep Superman out!

  • with you man

  • No one man should have that much power.

  • Epic ending. Shouldn't of pissed off Superman.

  • Lol at Luthor at 1:38

  • that is hilarious hes the one who wants all that power lol

  • Awesome way to end a series! That thing with Darkseid surprized me. I had no idea Darkseid had brainwashed his subjects so much that they are so loyal to him, even though he has them whipped and everything.

  • This must one of the best episodes of STAS.

  • "I am many things Kal El...but here I am God."

  • I'm still a bit grossed out by the fact that he didn't just do the black clad granny goodness fury, he did all three of them, including the gross "bertha" one. Guys you know the one, the one that looks like a bulldyke!

  • luthor"no one man should have that much power"

yea...he is the right guy to say that mr.i-own-metropolus

  • those doctors are lucky to examine the body of super girl

  • When Supergirl says "you could have killed somebody" As I recall Kallel did eliminate some parademons of course she didn't see but yet...

  • But parademons were never truly living sentient beings. They are genetically-created beings with a hive mind. People are always killing them because they don't really count as far as people go.

  • "Dont really count"? All life counts as life, jews, kashmiri's, palestinians even non sentient beings as insects

  • I agree, but parademons are not truly living sentient beings. Nobody in the comics has any compunctions against inflicting maximum damage on them.

Besides, Darkseid always recalls them using a boom tube and restores them to their usual semblance of life after they fail their mission.

  • well we saw superman beat them up and burn them but i dont believe he killed them. seeing superman angry enough to kill is frightening, just like how incredibly violent he gets in JL against darkseid (twilight ep).

  • and then lois and clark went home for some supersex.

  • I take it this episode is the prelude to the CADMUS storyline in JLU. Isn't Gen. Hardcastle the one who spoke against CADMUS and went into hiding and Andrea kills him?

  • It's Galatea that killed him, and he was sent into exile by Cadmus because he failed to stop Superman in this episode (I think Hardcastle was Eiling's predecessor).

  • Superman's facial expression at :06 is stuff legends are made of.

  • excellent ending!!!!!!!

  • luthor in a brace thats LTMQ

  • 0MG Lex!!!

  • 2:06

What happened to Superman's neck?! He's a floating head!

  • Yh.that was wierd

  • That woman who says she's locking her bedroom door at night - does she really think a locked door would stop an evil Superman?
