I always wanted Blakes 7 to be remade. But after watching Jacqueline Pearce as Servalan I simply cannot conceive of any actor who could possibly play the part now. There is no contemorary female actor who could portray the President and be as sexy, intelligent, manipulative and get away with it. Nowadays, they would simply write in a gay Imperial Legion commander who is immune to her charms.
