  • Please post a video showing how to cut the notches. It is not obvious how to do that.

  • excellent idea, good job.

  • looks like the foundation on a mobile home.

  • @levicash LOL Thanks!

  • NICE table ! I usually just pick up a couple of 2" thick rigid foam insulation 4x8's and gorilla tape em to 5/8 sheet which is screwed onto saw horses.

  • @tybeejeffro Thanks Jeff! I have tried the foam insulation method on the floor, but never on the sawhorses. Sounds like a good idea.

  • Just another thought your table is just a little tall unless your 8’ tall to cut all the way across a 4’ cut for control of the saw.

  • @samten10a I can I agree with you, but there is need for compromise when you have multifunctional sawhorses/table. The height of the horses are comfortable to me for cutting 2x4's and the like. So that is just the way it turns out, I could have made my horses shorter but then it would be uncomfortable cutting alot of 2x4 material.

  • That is all right but takes up to much room. Mine is 2 saw horses. Top rail is 2x6 with 4 notches so you can just place an 8’ 2”x4” in the notch now you have 4 rails to lay the ply wood on to cut if you need more support just lay another 2x4 flat between one of the rail. It is easy to take apart to move and store. If you cutting short way just lay 2x4 flat

  • Hi, how did you cut the slot into the plywood so its square?

  • @petikan petika, I am not 100% sure I understand exactly which slot you are talking about. To keep them square though I would have marked them out individually on each plywood strip and then cut it out using my miter saw. This keeps it good and square using the miter saw although you could get by with using a skill saw if you are pretty experienced with one.

  • It would have been nice to see you demonstrate how the table makes cutting plywood easier.

  • @Jaxsolo It probably would have been a good addition to the video, but it just didn't cross my mind to include that. Although I think people can imagine how easy it makes not even cutting plywood but it also serves many other uses in my shop. Mainly and extra table/workbench to assemble some pieces on or to have parts laying out on it.

  • It's a torsion box minus the skins and built out of way thicker material.

  • Thanks for the great idea!!!

With a removable tabletop, it can then be a multi-function mobile work table... simply what I need for my limited space!!!

  • @JasonECI Yes, it would be great for a small area, I am going to figure out a way to hang mine flat against the ceiling so that it isn't taking up hardly any space. Glad you liked it.

  • That looks good. i'm going to build one next week.

  • @fiensiferum Thank you! If you have any questions let me know.

  • @fiensiferum It's nice but the way it's explained sounds a bit intimidating (too much math ha...ha..) There must be an easier way to cut plywood. JMHO.
