I accidentally found a jackalope while hunting for skunks around Twin Rocks. What happened was that I was riding my horse, when I heard a little shriek. I knew I had run something over. Turns out, it was a Jackalope. It also turns out that running something over in your horse doesn't count as killing it. So, I didn't complete the fourth scrap of the Expert Hunter outfit. I also haven't seen another one since.

I'm on my second play through now and so far I found the jackalope by accident twice. lol. First time I was sniping gang members down in a canyon and it just walked behind me, saw it, turned around, knew what it was and shot and skinned it. The second time was even more lucky. I was just riding along a road going west from Armadillo and my horse just trampled the lil bastard, didn't even see him until it told me the Expert Hunter outfit was updated. lol.

I found one when I was doing the stranger mission "funny man" where you have to save the man from Pike's Basin, so I crouched and snuck over with a bunch of gang members at night and freed him. On my way back, I spotted a Rabbit with Antlers, I was like "I have to kill it!" So I shot it and I alerted all of the gang members and had to clear Pike's Basin all over again.
