@arcart0 And how much energy would it take to produce, design and transport them? How many jobs would be lost in other vacuum factories?

Same issue with hybrid cars. They think they're helping the environment driving them, but more environmental harm is done manufacturing a hybrid then the lifetime of a regular automobile.

You have to look at the big picture and consider the livelihoods of working people around the world before you get too absorbed with your smugness.
