  • talking to someone at work who was in the fire survice there was a fire here in the 60's talking to the farmer he said it was the fire station makes scence large room with large (door) at front with a back room

    I think the original use for that building was actually a Standby Set House.

    An almost identical building exists at RAF Docking, and that is what it was.

    However, it may well have been utilised as a fire house...

    I live on the site of the 2nd WW prison of war camp at Pudding Norton, Hempton, Fakenham. Not much left of it now, just some concrete foundations. Bunkers have been filled as far as i know.
