I COMPLETELY agree. My friends made me watch the second one a year or so ago, and I'm STILL rather traumatized. Good MILKSHAKES, that was awful. And then they also like friggin' TWILIGHT, and they keep saying, "READ IT, WATCH IT!" Honestly, the only reason that I WOULD read/watch it would be so I could complain about it without people yelling at me for, pardon the pun, judging a book by it's stupid apple cover. SHEESH.
I'm not sure why people seem to hate HSM with a passion. The first was a nice movie that does seem to resemble Grease. The rest of the movies are like any other sequel, terrible.
HSM=bane of existence. The thought of an 8 year old girl in a cheer outfit IS creepy. But you know what else is creepy---a 7 or 8 year old making out with a Zac Efron folder when they are in line for lunch one morning. o_O

I saw all three of them and even though I thoroughly enjoyed the last one and I do admit to thinking Zac Efron is kind of adorable, it's no big deal. They sell too much crap. You'll never see me buying any HSM merchandise, 'cause who needs it? Yeah, it's about prancing 18-year olds and holds no intellectual value whatsoever. Buying the merchandise is just piling junk in your house you'll be embarrassed about after a year or two. -__-

Sweeney Todd is awesome! It has deep character development, awesome set pieces, an intriguing plot and masterfully crafted lyrics and melodies. High School Musical has Zac Efron...
All this tween crap scares me...Including HSM It is basically high school for the sterio typical american middle class family. Where the kid went through high school like a breeze on a sunny day. Not go through hell every single day.

Also, KH has moved away from the Disney stuff and moved to a more of a Square Enix story with Organization XIII and such that the Disney villains play a minor role. Still it was good to have Disney villains as your bad guy before in KH, a Disney and video gamers' dreams.
