Teams couldn't pass all over us because there wouldn't be any seams because of all the secondary. The whole key to the spread is seams. They couldn't run up the middle because of the great linemen we'd have. They couldn't run around the outside because of the great speed that you have in the D- Backfield.

Ohio State should run a 3-4 defense to stop the spread. They have the tools to do it. Put Gibson and Wilson at DE's and Heyward at DT. Then put fast linebackers and big safetys at linebackers. Then have the normal strong and free safetys, and corners. Then they can reload at the line with Jamel Turner and Dorian Bell at end's and Darryl Baldwin at D-Tackle. If teams stack the line then blitz linebackers. If teams run shotgun then bring the linemen and maybe one linebacker. It's perfect.

Turner is a hybrid/ tweener. He can play de or outside linebacker at the college level. He is going to be a monster. Klein is a very underated player.

Exactly my point! Thanks... if we can take highschool players that are average like them in highschool and turn them into great players, imagine what we could do w/ Sabino or Bell. It's scary. And if Sabino went to a school where there was no Laurinaitis he would've had an immediate impact as the no.1 MLB recruit in the 08 class.

Malcolm Jenkins was a legend in HS and was obviously going to be a star in college. There was NOTHING average about Malcolm Jenkins in HS, he was a superstar at Piscataway.

It's not just Malcolm Jenkins how about his teammate in HS, projected as a top 5 cornerback in next years draft Kyle Wilson(2star out of HS)

How about Doak award winner Shonn Green who I saw play in HS he was ranked as a 3star

Or how about the 9th pick in this years draft, BJ Raji he was ranked as a 2star.

&with my explanation players get better n time. OSU hadn't recruited any better corners than Jenkins which is y he got to play early & THAT'S what got him better! When u make it 2 the college level ur practicing against BETTER competition than in HS. Bell and Sabino are already better and will start over Mcvey & Klein easy.

Jenkins was the best HS cornerback in the country and proved it in college.

i played against this kid in our first scrimmage of the year last sat. when this kid walked in thought he was a coach he is f'in huge im a sophomore and 6 feet tall that kid seemed huge to me. he is f'in amazing!!!!!!!
