I make backups every time i apply patches, use sprite tool, use blocktool, or simply attempt addmusic.

Well, I remember when I making smw hack 4 years ago (2004), and then I maked back-up cd before window$ xP will crash, and then I mowed my back-ups from cd to hard driver, and I noticed that my hack are messed-up, but thanks god only some gfx, but at last, that hack are so bad.....

I just copy and paste it. That's the fastest backup, rather than going from your computer to an SMTP server, off to the mail server, and back to your email box.
