Like how the camera focuses resolutely on Joe when Mick is singing the Prisoner as it gives us a chance to observe Joe's excellent rhythm guitar method. Slay that telecaster!
right from like 3:04 when they are showing the 3 of em, I got incredibly sad. You know, like I see Mick and Paul playing and Joe in the middle, and I see Mick and Paul and it makes me kinda happy cause it reminds me of them being in their new band called the Gorillaz where I see videos of them playing live, and I'm just real happy for them. And then I see Joe and think that he isn't part of that group. And it just makes me so sad. This world would be so different if Joe was still with us.
I love the way the camera spends most of the time on Strummer during The Prisoner, even though he's not singing the lead vocal. It's like a study of things from his point of view.
it's true...finding TOPPER was like some fookin' gift from gods...I like the other geek's drumming on 1st album but his ideas was so off...If my granny was to see him as a chiroprrctor, I'd advise her to see somebody else, seemingly, if someone gave me Joe's dentist address, I'd run away
@BenHughesLlan maybe this was a mistake either that or the German Secret police is reading what you write...more likely you was a bit drunk...admit it...and hit the wrong button
Im getting a sunburst tele, with a rose wood neck, but after seeing this vid, im getting a maple neck, painting it black so it looks just like this one
Janie Jones seems way faster than on the record, this show is awesome. wonder if i could find all of it on youtube? I have Police & Theives from this on a DVD, i wanna upload it sometime soon...
god that german crowd was shit lol i tell u im English by the looks over all there gigs i can tell u i think the yanks really enjoyed themselves the most u know bouncing really appreciating the clash.
oh! i didnt get it the first time i read youre comment. Actually, I saw last summer one bloke and his girlfriend and this bloke weared same kind of shirt as paul
topper is the best white drummer out there, and the soul of clash songs was (if you ask from me, its joe, but he was kinda the glue who made them able to play so many different songs

That buzz would wear off on the crowd. One big, massive contact high was to be had seeing The Clash then.

I love when Joe throws the mic down at the end. It was so smooth. Its like Kurt Cobain smashing a guitar, just without the loss of a guitar
