it depends what you want, but the cheapest option is one monitor edition Sim Pro plus the G25 on the student desk = $1000.

You can go also a home edition with a cheap steering wheel set for only $100.

Yes, it is separate; the steering wheel comes together with the gear shifter and pedals. So, you would need a software and steering wheel set.

Yes, you can buy the full edition, but it is expensive; or you can get a Trial edition, which is more than enough for an individual to learn driving a semi-truck with the manual (also double clutching) transmission.

There is a lot of information regarding the pedals issue.

It looks you did not install pedals properly. There are 3 steps you have to follow installing G25 or G27, read the instruction that comes with the SimuRide regarding the steering wheel set up.

You have a Home Edition; to have a trucks and manual transmission with all other features you have to purchase a Professional edition, which is 10 times more expensive.

Yes, Home Edition is for use at home; only automatic transmission vehicles. It is simplified version of professional edition, but it is sufficient to practice driving in the city, country, freeway; in darkness, fog or icy road. Also there are other vehicles to make it realistic.

Everything what the beginner or experienced driver needs.

@coshyno double clutching is when your shifting, you press the clutch twice to synchronize the gears, you dont need to do this any more in cars as they make transmissions synchronized now, some trucks you still need to double clutch to keep the revs up and some you dont, i believe it depends on the year, a newer truck you wouldnt need to.
