  • For someone reasonably new to the tin whistle that's astonishing... well done mate

  • That was after less than a year of playing, and one year ago

Now I can do that better, I think :)

  • Wow, can't wait for the new up to date playing!

  • There are some up-to-date videos in my account. Co cooley's there, but nice tunes also.

  • you roocks! :D if you only been playing for some years you are very good.. And i like it :D

  • thanks for the advice, i thought as much, i play the drums and that took years to get to a good standard never tried and instrument that played a tune before though only a beat! :) cheers

  • how long have you been playing before you could play that tune? i just bought a whistle today never played in my life any tips?

  • Well, I've started playing a recorder in feb'2007, switched to tinwhistle at may'2007, this video is from jan'2008. So it took a year to learn to play it like that.

If you practice every day (as any musician should), you will be able to play that reel after 2-3-4 months of learning. But that's not an easy one, you'd better start from some simpler stuff.

There's only one tip I can give you: practice. Practice a lot. Music is all about wanting to be better in it.

  • That´s pretty good, good you can keep steady rhytm - and I think you´re definitely over period of beginnership. Only thing I´d add there is speed, but it will come with time
