Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful! I'm hooked on the sancutary and will be making donations at every chance I have to financially. You people are wonderful, caretakers, those that donate and all that truly care about the benefit of elephants. Thanks to the sancutary for sharing these videos with us!
@SingingHealstheHeart Please check our website and recent Asian diary entry and slide show for information about Dulary and Shirley's interactions. They are doing fine!
@ThePowerofElephants Dulary is doing just fine--she has a very healthy appetite and remains very active with daily swims, etc. She just has a very lean body style, whereas elephants like Misty are more round and built like a "tank." Don't we all wish we had Dulary's metabolism!
I know that two years have aleady passed, but I still love watching the video. I remember watching Dulary at the Philadelphia Zoo since I was three years old. I was around nine years old when I realized that elephants should not be in zoos. I am so glad to see Dulary happy and healthy. Before, I had seen her thin, lonely, and depressed. I am sure that she will live content and free for many years to come.
If there is a god which I doubt. Someone has one day to answer for the crime of imprisoning these beautiful animals. Thank you from my heart for giving these beauties a life again.
god bless these gentle giants, i cried many tears of joy, to watch this elephant who came from such an awful place to such a wonderful new home, god bless everyone who helped her get there safely i changed my beneficiary for my 401ks to this Elephant Sactuary! I would love to come for a visit to watch them roam free!!
This video demonstrates just how wonderful the caregivers are at the Sanctuary. No forcing the elephant to do what THEY wanted but let the elephant find its bearings -- and friends. What wonderful people. These poor elephants have lived such miserable lives.
Hi! I'm from Philly. They did the best they could, but the Philly Zoo is just too small. One elephant died, and then there was a fight between the 3 left. The zoo with the help of Philly elephant activists decided to let Dulary go to the TEC. I want to thank them for that. Dulary looks much much happier and is free to roam and eat and have friends. God Bless all who helped and the TEC.
This is such a beautiful site to see after seeing all the bored & abused elephants in circuses and zoos for 65 years. May God bless your wonderful work.
That's my Philly girl! Glad to see the Philadelphia Zoo transfered her to the sanctuary. Now she and the other girls at the sanctuary, can live peacefully with nature. God Bless the Sanctuary.
omg i smiled so BIG when i saw the trunk touches! they bonded on the spot :D

How is Dulary doing? How is she interacting with Shirley? Is it harder for her to not be very dominant towards her?

I guess when the elephants see the truck they know they are getting a new member of the herd!

Please help Dulary to gain some weight! She looks healthy in general, but appears to be rather thin.
