I was in Verona for just one day almost 30 years ago and I still remember it as one of the happiest days in my life. Verona is absolutely magical. Italy is full of beautiful historical cities with lots of art, architecture and great food, but Verona is different. It's one of those places that have a special gift of making people happy - both locals and visitors alike. Believe it or not, I liked it more than Venice. I want to go back one day.
Rick you should come to Vicenza too! It`s right between Verona and Padova and has so many beautiful palaces and a beautiful basilica from Palladio!
