@Kamikaze5064 Actuely this gun is "internaly" designed for cowboy action shooting with a "drop 2" method to loading. the gun can only start a match with 2 loads in the tube. Once expended, the shooter drops 2 loads 1 on top of the other and closes the block which loads 1 round in the tube and the other into the breach. this is repeated until all targets are down. With practice, this can be done quite fast.

I've played the latest 3 call of duty games and i've been sport and target shooting/hunting since i was 4... Firing a hot load out of a 12 gauge one handed or firing both barrels of a double barrel hurts, but it won't break an arm :)

@schoolsux0rz Uh no. When you saw off the stock you're lightening the gun, therefore increasing the felt recoil. It's still a 12ga shotgun even without the stock. The recoil doesn't lessen just because you take the stock off.

The 1887 was offered in a few different variations, but they were all pretty much just caliber/shell changes; there was a 12 and 10 Gauge in Black Powder, and then there was a 10 Gauge in Smokeless(along with modern repro's in 12 Smokeless). Far as i can tell, any variation in barrel length, handguard size etc. was either custom made for the buyer or done by the buyer him/herself.
