Amazing that so many people state Iran as though it was a backward state. It is not a backward state, and thye have just gone into space, and are able to make nuclear plants. That is NOT backward.
And believe it or not, their peopel smile and laugh and joike and sing. They are NOT prisoners.

It would be terrible anyway you look at it if we pulled out and their country collapsed and it went back to the old ways. And our troops lives were wasted!

The Iraqis will probably take measures to make sure that won't happen...
Besides, if the Sunni and Shia start killing each other again...what's wrong with that? All war is horrible, as well as inevitable. But if it can be channeled in a way that serves our interest, then should we really worry?

That being said i think there is always a peaceful way we could solve things but war is the fastest route to any sign of getting your point across.
I don't think we should worry but hope!
