i need a ur advice.. i am thinking to flash cyanogenmod 7.1.0.1 of Google Nexus on my friend's Micromax A85 .. Can u tell me wat will the result will the phone will be able to boot or not?

1 tip:

if you root your phone to use clockworkmod...DONT USE IT!!!

it will work very good...but clockworkmod is curruntly bugged,already from the first release!!!

the biggest problem is (i got this):

it will work first good...but after some time (can be 1 sec. or 1 year!) when you turn off your phone it wont get on again!!!

its a glitch that will damage something in ur phone, and nowere on the world will this problem fall under the garanty!!!

so just dont do it, thats the best for your phone!

i really want to root my defy, because it ALWAYS lags and has a terrible battery life

@TechTalk33 You'll have to try a different rooting method. I only have experience in the SuperOneClick rooter and the Universal Androot, sorry!

@CrowoyAndroid Basically i'm new to Android, and rooting etc - I don't even know what rooting and custom roms etc is, but all i know is, that if you root or do something to the phone then you can have the latest version of Android on your phone, even if Google or whoever sends the updates for the phone stops updating it. Ok so i need help with this? Hopefully you can help ;)
