I am the founder of a Silver Surfer fangroup that rejects the idea that Surfer was a human before he became the superhero. This 'origins' idea was made by Stan Lee during Surfer's 1960s solo series. I reject this origins story because it goes against Jack Kirby's concept of the character (who envisioned him as pure energy); but because Stan Lee was the editor, he launched the Surfer solo series and prevented Kirby from doing the art. This led to Kirby leaving Marvel for DC in 1970.

The movie Captain America: The First Avenger will release on July 22, 2011, leading up to the May 2012 release of The Avengers. Warner Bros. has announced that a Green Lantern film will be released on June 17, 2011... with upcoming projects as of August 2010 such as Silver Surfer (spin off), Ant Man, Wonder Woman, The Flash, A film about the character Venom is in development for an unknown date. Other intended releases include several X-Men spin-offs The current one being X-Men: First Class.

Very well done. I think you should find some hi-def versions of each of the clips and really "professionalize" this trailer (if that's even a word). Really good choice of music too, matches the mood of the Surfer's story.

Galactus in the coming Silver Surfer movie will be epic. They've been in early stages for the film since The Rise of The Silver Surfer release. FYI, It'll be out by 2012

I would love to be part of the SS project. I am a MAJOR Silver Surfer fan from WAAAAAAY back. I've been looking forward to this movie since Stan Lee said that SS was his favorite character. He is noble, powerful beyond any other, merciful and in love. Imagine the potential!
