  • Very good and creative. Keep it up!

  • teach me the ways of the force! lol

  • Hi Nevisoul! Tell me: what are they madethese gloves. And where to get them? :>

  • 4:10 is what happened to your hair, right? :)

  • @TroubledRabbit Naaaa, that´s just to keep it trimmed ;)

  • fire bending is awesome

  • Thomas, I was wondering if you could tell me about the gloves you are wearing for spiral wraps etc. What material are they and where did you obtain them? Thanks a lot. This video is as inspiring as it was the first time I watched it (many months later).

  • @Mandelbrot13 Well the gloves that´s being used in this video is uninteresting as they are made out of synthetics....

But one could use any 100% cotton gloves, I would cut the very top of the fingers of from the gloves though....

    Good luck.... :)

  • absolutly beatiful ;)

  • Sice mam radsi akcnejsi pociny, ale toto je fakt dobre video.

  • Very unique style! I really like your speed changing and your patterns flow very well together. And I saw a hybrid when you had them both in one hand very nice!!

  • this is freakin epic man, great plane changes, smooth turns, great timing and some real smooth slow steady transitions....Faveroite straight away :)

  • Man that was great.. !

    Thank you for sharing..

  • Absolutely beautiful!

  • Please, PLEASE release a version with without the soundtrack. Don't get me wrong, it's a great tune and fits the movie perfectly, but I'd still like a version with just the silence. Your description of the atmosphere sounds wonderful.

  • This is one of my all time favorite fire videos. Truly inspiring.

  • There is a calmness to your spinning that is really appealing and unique. You have such control, pure art. Inspiration comes every time I watch.

  • Very inspiring. Very Amazing. Absolutely Beautiful!

  • so fukin smooth!

  • sweet

  • Riktigt nice! Linus har berättat om dina äventyr, hade gärna bytt en vecka med dig =P

  • Darn and I thought i had at least some skill XD Well back to the practices I guess XD

    Thanks for inspiration =]

  • baaaad fuckin ass man

  • Damn... Your bloody amazing....

  • Inspirational flow :) And this vid has helped me crack opposites turns, so thanks v much!

  • Amazing video all around. The 1 handed butterfly thing was amazing! You are very talented!

  • whouww !!!

    thats really good !!

  • Wow! You have officially taken my breath! That was amazing dear sir!

  • <3

    j'adore! c'est trop beau.. c'est même reposant .. Merci!

Love it! It's so beautiful.. so restful.. thanks!

  • Your poi skills are formidable but next time set your camera to manual focus not auto. :)

  • real good technique, good job .)

    chears!

  • Damn, how do I learn to flow so well? Also is there a list of moves you've done in this video? I don't know how to go about learning more complex techniques without looking up videos on how to do them. =/

  • Amazing! Music was perfect with it.

  • so your using the isis poi from salza? what kind of chain?

  • @tori579 That´s right, the chain is the chain that comes with them, black welded dog chain I think it´s called....?

  • sweet, so that comes with swivels so u can do orbitals?

  • @tori579 my biggest criticism of salzas poi is the solid kevlar knots. I recently switched from the solid kevlar to the wooden cores from home of poi, and the difference in weight is enormous. increased my 'spinability' i guess you could say at least 3 fold. great video though, great flowers, antispins, great stalls; awesome one handed skill, you are my hero

  • thomas please tell me how do you do the super fast spiral wraps?????

  • @santiago1234567890 Hmmmm, don´t know how to explain in words but the chain are locked in between my wrist and comes out behind the thumbs.... Don´t thin that´s a understandeable describtion but do you get it? :-/

  • @nevisoul i dont know how the hell but i didt at the first try after reading your message jajaja...thanks man you had been a big inspiration for me...it would be great to know you, do you have any plan to visit america?????

  • @santiago1234567890 i was wondering about that too, even with the best possible and wraping the chain about the wrists to get more "unwrap power", it´s just about half of the speed...if you find some more mystical secrets about that, it would be awesome of you to share them;DDD

  • Greath control of poi!

  • I don't get one thing.. How do you do butterfly with one hand ?..

  • that 1 handed thing inspierd me to prictice that with my pois to and thanks to you now i can also do 3 and 5 beat front and reverse such as under de legs and one arm wrap i invented (well at least i had never seen it before in meteor videos) so i hope i could make a video of those moves and posted here as a video response.....so thanks for the inspiration and good luck

  • This is beautiful. Lighting the second wick with a 1 handed spiral. Over the head stall. And everything else..oh my god. I've never seen such perfect form.

  • Love it! oh you know you got the flow!

I love that little BTH stall spot, i get them caught back there a a lot tho

I also dug the intro i might have to try that one handed light up

Sick iso's as well. We have come to refer to that perfect little iso, especially the one you do with an up down stall then spin with it, as nevisoul turns :D

  • I still love you!

  • So are you pretty good at Meteor?

Is that where you got so good at one handed?

  • Actually I haven´t spent much time with meteors instead I tend to play a lot of onehanded moves with two poi in one hand which more or less is like meteors. But it´s only the right hand *sigh* :D

  • hey man. cant wait to see your next video! everytime i watch this i am very inspired. Will you watch my most recent video sir?

  • love the vid brotha... got a question though. i have been trying to figure out what kind of chain i need to do an orbital like u do in ur vid.. thx!

  • Hmmmm, any chain/string is usable, it´s probably more of a thing to get to know the chains/strings you are using yourself, some spinners like ballchains, some like twisted chains and so on...

The chains I use is classical welded dogchain + swivel...

I hope you get the orbitals down in the way you like them...

    Happy circles... :)

  • i just wanted to be the 99th person to type wow. so....wow. i've seen many videos but you have an incredible flow. wish you all the best.

    eri muy seco

    muy bueno lo que haces

    un saludo desde chile

  • BEAUTIFUL!!! Thankyou :)

  • that was absolutely magnificent. im curious, what gloves are you wearing?

  • It´s not the best protections as they are made out of synthetic material but they do the job on an excellent way when they are soaked in water.

I have a video called "Bla bla bla", take a look and you can see those gloves closer....

And thank you very much.... :)

  • Always sutch a pleasure watching you!! Your so good!

  • all I have to say is WOW total control is amazing. Love it. I love the music that goes with it as well. your spinning is spiritual and inspirational.

    Les

  • Thomas! This video is amazing! :D I love watching you because whenever I begin to slow and come almost to a poi block in my thought process, your videos give me inspiration. I took your advice from the message and ill have another video for you to watch soon:] btw is there any way i can get your gloves without getting the package from salza? i hate waiting and dont want to re order more isis poi, though i do need new heads! keep it up man!!

    chris

  • Sweeet, looking forward to see it and how you progress...

I don´t know about the gloves, you could send the guys at salza an email to ask if they could sell them separately, I would be happy to send a pair to you but i only have 2 pairs left and I really need those *greedy* :D

  • dude in my poi journey, you pull me forward to the future .

  • This is amazingly inspirational. Thank you so much for just being so good. :)

  • Thomas(if I can call you that... I wouldn't mind if you prefer poi god lol) You've really out done yourself. You just made me fall in love with poi even more. Next time your in the bay area(next firedrums?) I'd love to finally get a chance to meet you in person. it was a pleasure seeing you spin at union square for the dance week!

  • Next time in Bay Area would be the 20th of August, coming over for Burning Man so who knows, I might bump into you then?! The performances that evening where wicked and it was a blast to hang out with everyone, looking forward to come back :P

    Thomas btw ;)

  • Where do you hang out when your in the bay? Temple of poi, the vulcan...? Sucks we can't make burning man this year, school is to important sadly =( How long are you here for? There is the symbiosis gathering at the end of september in yosemite; shpongle, hallucinogen and so much more!

  • Nothing decided yet but I would guess that I´m gonna find myself at the Vulcan or at the Flowspace, let´s see. This time I only go for Burning Man though so I fly out in the middle of september :(

But I see you around, don´t know where and when though?! :D

  • Well you said you get in on the 20th and I'll be at the vulcan on the 26th for one of their spin jams. If your around you should stop by! I assume you know noel yeah?

  • Vids like this really make me appreciate the art of Poi

  • :40 to :52 INSANE! That just takes great control! You are definitely one of my favorite spinners, 'cause your flow and your style are simply THE BEST! When are you coming to South Florida (US)??

  • Absolutely Brilliant... U R Def 1 of the Best!!

  • I love you Mister Clean!!!

    See you soon!!!

  • I love you so much, you have no idea, haha. I'd marry you if you weren't a dude.

  • oh my buddha!!! long time no see butter and batter man! keep going i will be your fan :D

  • Thomas, once again you astound me :D

Really liking the idea of those grabs at 2:07!

Has given me a good deal of inspiration!

Will you, by any chance, be coming to Clonakilty this year mate? Would be wicked to see you spin in person... and to steal some trickery from you >=]

Can I just ask what kind of gloves you are wearing to do those grabs? Would be most appreciated!!

    -Davey-

  • Who knows what the future have in mind but Irland and Clonakilty is planned, arrive in Dublin the 16th of Sep if everything works out *crossing my fingers*

The gloves is actually toe socks that is a bit modified, the downside is that it´s synthetics which mean you need to soak them in water cos they might melt if they catch fire, still worth the chance though ;)

See you around and thanks for watching...

  • thanks for the tips on the gloves.

i've been toying with different styles

but i may have to try this idea.

    many thanks for the inspiration

  • Very inspring!!!

  • Beautiful! Thank you for using my music. You're magic

  • Nice, very relaxed, good flow. I love it...

  • yes my friends ! very good video ! next : fueurwelt! good to see you !

  • Wow, lovely! Truly lovely! The beauty of simplicity. The simplicity of moves practiced thousands of times. Pure flow! Love it!

Your spinning in a constant inspiration to me, and I'm sure a lot of my own spinning has your influence now! Thanks so much for sharing!

  • everytime i watch a video i just smile. you are one of the most enjoyable spinners I have the pleasure of watching :)

    come to clonakilty :(

  • Always a pleasure to watch you flow man.

  • Those spirals look HOT!

How's it going in the kingdom of poi geekery?

    I miss you man.

Hope to hear from you soon.

  • .... y sigue sumando mejoras ! la creatividad poi no se detiene. Thomas , este video tiene muy buen ritmo, flujo, transiciones/trucos, trucos/velocidades, circulos y ambiente.....nice vibration dude ! ... and SouthAmerica appear in your flights tickests , in your poi project about futures trips in your poi soul....jejejeXD Hope you are well...

  • magic my dear friend - as always you flow into beautiful moves i've never seen anyone else do...

damn man you constantly evolve your already fluid style

    miss you man!!!

  • wow... very nice :)

  • what kind of handles do you use?

  • The handles that comes with the Isis poi, it´s classical nylon double loops. You find them on salza`s site.

But handles are so personal, everyone like´s different ones, what do you use?

  • I make single loops from rock climbing webbing and stuff them with a bit of sand on one end. That allows me to do wibbles.

  • Ahhh wibblin is difficult/impossible with these handles, no handle yet has the possibility of all styles and grips, one day hopefully :P

  • very nice :) keep it up

  • 4:12 very nice!!

    Thanks mate!

  • Holy shit Thomas... those shorter chain spirals were impressive. Real crowd pleasers i'm guessing! Keep the inspiration flowing mate. Also, are you heading back to Sth East Asia this year? I'll be that way around December/Jan/Feb. (thai/viet/laos/cam).. Then India before back to europe.

    Peace and circles.

    Matty

  • No flight tickets that say Asia in my pockets, yet. I bet that I´m gonna be there this winter sometime, see you there?!

The spirals are wickid, very easy to get addicted to :P

  • Quality mate.. will be there for sure! keep in touch bro, see you when the circles are lit up!

  • very awesome, never seen any1 able 2 chain together more than one spiral wrap at a time, keep it up

  • you remain at the top of my list of awesome flow artists. that was inspiring. thanks for sharing.

  • this video was even better the second time i watched it! the one handed stuff around 3:33 was neat :-)

  • wow! )

  • Beautiful!

nice spirals and yout style are so great!

    Keep spinning! =]

  • One of my favorites. Great flow.

  • nice one Thomas !!! Really liked the hand raps at 4:43 . 5 stars

  • Very nice! Always see something interesting to try to integrate into my own style when I watch your videos :) One of these days I'll figure out that damn tricky whirling anti-spin flower move :P
