I agree mate.Jap bikes are good and have had reign on this sector for years, but it's nice to see some good competition. I have never rid the 675 but like the bike. It has so much personality. and great engines the triple's are i reckon. I've got a Sprint ST as my 1st bike and love it. plenty enough torque without needing 12k rpm...ideal for overtaking, esp if new like me and find myself in not maybe the best gear. The 'just passed' and commuting side stopped me buying the 675 too :-)
At my age I would be going at half the speed of that mean machine. Reminds me of the six cylinder 1979-1982 Honda CBX1000. My existing bike is a fully restored 1982Honda CB750KZ with factory 4 into 4 exhaust. Curerntly getting a stainless steel sytem from the header pipes to all four silencers. Bought new for ZAR1200 (South African Rand ) Now insured forAU$23,000 ! Collectors item now and not for sale . First bike was a 1978 Honda CB550K with 4into4 exhaust. Sold it when the CB750KZ arrived.
you guys can push that bike a fair bit harder then that, I dont think your using the full tire even. I was out dragging knees with mine today, and it has a lot more lean & turning speed then what was being utilized throughout the video.
I ride a fuckin 200cc dual sport and the only contact I've had with sport bikes is my brother's SV650 and youtube videos. And even I could tell you this guy is hauling ass on that track lol...
yes that on board short that guy is absolutely flat stick. This looks like a press shoot with Factory Bikes including the factory pirelli's which are ok, but they aren't as sticky as others. Draggin knees is overated. Keeping your knee and the bike an inch off the ground though, that's when you are really on the edge
I prefer yellow or grafite XP.. I love this bike for his sound, is amazing and very different. If you road with a Triumph you drive special european bike..
great video
