  • Upgrading my system with and 8core cpu, 8gb 1600 cant wait lol

  • Im not sure if i should find another 8800 to sli my older one or get a single 1gb more updated card lol

  • @BoY860 The 8800 is ancient compared to whats available today. Dont waste your money going SLI. Get a new GTX 400 or 500 series card

  • @slb785 yea wasnt exactly planing in doin so lol i been looking at nvidia 560 and radeon hd 6950 cards

  • sick setup man even if its an old video. I will check out your upgraded one next.

  • how has the Rosewill Xtreme 850 watt psu performed, i ask cause im thinking of getting it.

  • @jinchurikione still going strong to this day!

  • wow that is an awesome setup you have there... i am a little jealous

  • music ?

  • this is an amzing rig....0.0

  • sho off ( ;

  • how much of an improvement from one 8800gts to two sli 8800gts

  • I didnt really run benchmarks until after i got 2 of them. The thing i noticed is that one 8800GTS in crysis was playable on medium. Adding a second allowed smooth gameplay on high

  • Nice... You don't use any tweaks?

  • Nope

  • @slb785 How much does a Geforce 8800 GTS graphics card cost?

Is it worth the money, and will it run most games on high settings?

  • @MechWarrior324 Probably under $100 now... I wouldnt bother with it. its VERY old technology. Do some research, there are much better options out there

  • @slb785 Which graphics card do you recommend that isn't a very high price like $500, but still runs games on good settings? I can barely run Crysis on the lowest settings, and my PC was only $400.

  • @MechWarrior324 Im not sure. I got 2 GTX260 core 216s and can run crysis very high. But i also have a E8500 processor overclocked to 4.5ghz. Crysis is a very power hungry game. Dont expect a $400 PC to handle it well. Even if you have a awesome graphics card it can be held back by a slow processor

  • @MechWarrior324 a ati hd 5770 will run anything you throw at it...its about $160-180 depending on which model

  • @pikaboy409 Thanks, what settings would it run Crysis on? I'm going to build a PC and I'm wondering about the Benchmarks.

  • @MechWarrior324 i can run it at highest settings...

  • with one card on xp i can run high! vista on medium! running at 1680 by 1050

  • What size of a power supply do you have for this thing? I'm shoppin around and I like what I see..

  • Um, read the info, or pay attention to the video

  • ur mean

  • damn. like 5grand system

  • not even close lol, thats like a 1500 rig, but prolly close to 2k when he built it since some parts are old

  • And let the nvidia ATI battle begin...

  • One 4870 or two 9800gt's in sli??????

  • Its 2 8800GTS 512mb in SLI

  • I mean whats better for my PC?

  • If thats all youre debating between i would take the 4870. But personally id stick with nvidia simply because you can do SLI. If you go with ATI, adding another card down the road when it has dropped in price isnt an option, if you cant an upgrade you have to replace it with a newer more expensive model

  • Thats what im doing, lol two 9800 gt in SLI :D

  • nxji ATI is the best right now

first off its much cheaper then nvidia and performs better and according to ALL benchmarks ATI wins

  • no not exactly. 3 gtx 280's beat two 4870x2's and all ati does is beef up there cards rather than coming up with ways to use as little stream processors as much but still find the same performance as a high end card like Nvidia. ATI's products are also energy whores too...

  • yeah bro, research your shit before you make crap like that, with SLi you have to have identical cards, but with ATI you can use CrossfireX cards, yes there's a max of two cards, but there is also 3 X2 cards with 2 gpus and if you put two of them together its QUAD gpu, which blows the 9800gx2 out of the water. You can crossfire a 4870 with any ATI Radeon 3K and 4K series card, regardless of video ram, slot location or w/e. Most motherboards that go with ATI crossfire are cheap too. ATI <3

  • uh hey did u forget ATi has made the crossfire x, which is the ATi version of Sli

  • damn dude nice vid

ur pc sick it shows that u don't need expensive hardware to have a good pc and im guessing u have a 22 inch monitor so u wont need anything other than the 2 8800gts u already have nicely done nicely built

  • Yes its a 22" monitor. Not as cheap as u might think though. I would estimate around $2.5k including monitor keyboard etc.

    Thanks for the feedback!

  • Very nice video. I like the rig...thanks for sharing.
