Ibelive it has something to do with the trim settings on your radio, someone mentioned they had the same problem and ajusted the trim and that fixed it.
if you draw an imaginary line through the centre of the gyro from the centre of the blue sticker out the opposite side, that is the axis that is being detected, that line has to be pointing along the axis, say it was for roll, the imaginary line would have to be pointing forwards to backwards and with pitch it would need to be pointing left to right, also make sure the reverse switch is set correctly
I don't know why that gyro was twitching, maybe it is broken? But I did notice that you have both gyros pointing downwards. This won't work. The gyro looks like the older Esky rate gyro and if so then both those gyros will be responding to yaw movements. I am assuming you wanted them to keep the "plane" level in which case you need to turn them onto their sides and have one pointing toward the front of the plane and the other pointing to the side. Hope you get the gyro fixed.
Cool, can't help you out with the gyro situation, did you take a look at Dave Powers videos on his vtol project? There is quite a bit of information on these.
IT COULD BE LIKE A RC CAR!!!!!!

My gyro does that too. I think it's a bad connection between the two wires.
