GDP based recession isnt to be trusted, if they didnt mess around with figures its been in decline for around a year which is a depression.

We as one of the richest countries in the world should have a system in place that at the very least allows a degree of health care to all our citizens. Nationalize care to the same degree as Canada, might be a bit much but no one should have to choose between meds and meals. As it stands in the US right now health care is rationed based on ability to pay and it's not working for millions of people. The US has the most expensive care and third world infant mortality rates, the system in broken
