  • 01:36 I mean you'll NEVER see his like again, will you?

  • One more for 69 :P

  • When people talk about jimi's best songs, they tend to name purple haze, fire, voodoo child, little wing, wind cries mary and foxy lady alot. While those are great songs and 1 can argue that they are some of his best, they rarely mention his other gems like THIS song, burning desire, message of love and power to love, which i think of some of hendrix's best songs out of all his songs from his incredible music catalogue imo.

  • @yugang08 Cause radio's dont play it enough his preachings are too much for the man if peopel started listening to this and learned what the true meaning to his musics about they would have no more robots

  • Ronnie Spector and her sister Estelle Bennett from the Ronettes are singing backing on this

  • This song is similar to 9 to the Universe

  • Tell em Jimi....its the Earth Blues today! This is a killer live performance by the Band of Gypsies. Solo is freakin sick!

  • I think it comes from the second January, 1, 1970 show, not from the first. Anyway, it's a great version.

  • Thanx for this cool post! I'm thinking this is the Band Of Gypsys 1st Show @ the Fillmore East on New Years Day 1/1/70.

    1/1/70 Fillmore East, New York.

Band Of Gypsys 1st Show: Who Knows (Jimi starts using Octavia regularly on stage with this song), Machine Gun, Them Changes, Power Of Soul, Stepping Stone, Foxy Lady, Stop, Getting My Heart Back Together Again, Earth Blues & Burning Desire.
