I love Three Days Grace! I have two favorite bands: Metallica and 3DG! But honestly, I feel that Metallica has got more style live and James Hetfield sings better live and he also plays guitar at the same time, so that can't be an excuse! Just look at the way James and Kirk of Metallica hold and play their guitar! It's too good. But 3DG is good in studio not live whereas Metallica is good at both!

@taurosground- it's a harmonica (or similar mic), it has a limited frequency range so that when Adam is singing through it it almost sounds like he's singing into a telephone. it's gives the voice a hint of distortion as well, it's used for special effect.

@peasley9 You know, just because the lyrics of this song doesn't mean anything to you doesn't mean it is the same for Adam, Barry, Neil or Brad. How do you know this isn't describing one of their relationships that they knew they shouldn't have started or something like that. It's not written for you or me its for them. And I really like their lyrics, I find them quite meaningful. Especially compared to a lot of bands that all they write about is getting wasted, partying or sexing up chicks.

@joewvictory I'm sorry...I just don't see the meaning in most of their lyrics...modern rock is "flat" to me...it lacks personality and emotion...today's guitarists don't take the time to improve their guitar playing to the level that the classics had...Its either flat rhythm or shredding death metal...I don't care for most modern rock but three days grace is by far above the rest

I find alot of emotion in quite a few band's lyrics now a days. And as far as I can tell these guys here really do love music and are very passionate about it. I really like Barry's guitar skills, in my opinion it's not just about a set "skill" but the feeling the band gives when playing.

@joewvictory I agree with you about not needing to have a set skill, because I certainly don't have the talent that I bet a lot of people have guitar-wise. I've been playing for 3, 4 years and I may know a lot, but there is still much to learn. Its not that I don't like modern rock, I just feel that there are a lot of bands that don't take time to rise to the skill level needed to fully develope their music. Music reflects your soul and emotion, regardless of your skill level.
