I remember several family camping vacations

along the Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smokey

Mountains begining around 1965.  Great views, gas was cheap and the living was easy.

Real Estate developers like Len Boone in Roanoke VA are permanently destroying pristine Parkway views...what a tragedy! We need to preserve this priceless resource, not erode it into oblivion. Less GREED and more creative planning is the answer. We have this incredible beauty at our feet and we desecrate it. Our children deserve better!

Uhhh, the Blue Ridge Parkway does NOT go to nor into Tennessee. Only North Carolina and Virginia.
