Well as a woman as myself, I agree with the muslim women wearing the veil that covers their hair, whatever it is called. But, these face coverings that I see are anti-social! What if she were to encounter a deaf person that can only read your lips, or a child? They would certainly be scared by this! Like I said, I am all for womens rights and I believe in God, but I seriously doubt that God would want us women to go to this extreme! Cover your hair, arms, legs, fine...but not your face. = (

Well since 1400 years millions of women cover their faces with veils and in general

there aren't such problems, you have mentioned.

As you can see in the video, the women love wearing veils for the sake of God and they are even "fighting" for their rights.

This has something to do with their belief in their Creator and the love for their

religion. In this way they obey God and they also understand why they should wear it.

Therefore they do not consider this clothing as something "extreme", but they rather regard it as a treasure!

But anyway the clothing of Muslim women is not the most important thing in Islam.

Islam means the voluntary submission and obedience to the Almighty God.

The main thing is to do what God wants you to do and to worship Him alone without giving Him any partners.

I have nothing against the hijab as roman catholic I have to cover my hair on certain days. However I am not allowed to cover my face where I live with a mask or any other form. Generally spoken wearing the veil is not a barrier "to be productive outside of the home" as we can see it in Arab coutries.

What if a veiled woman got in a car crash the police man has to see drivers liscence for that matter how can a driver liscence or passport picture be taken? there was a report of a woman wearing full veil who drives a car which I find scary because there are woman that say that the veil does hinder their eyesight. yet this woman drives in full veil.

Just because of some incidents you can not restrict the freedom and choice of costume of innocent women! A lot of criminals use gloves, is this a reason for banning all gloves?

A lot of murderer use shawls and caps or hats when they are commiting a crime, can u forbid men and women to wear a hat because of that???

We hear mostly from people who do NOT wear a veil that the veil hinders the eyesight, but there are millions of women in the world who wear the veil and they do not have any problems...

Anyways if a woman goes to the middle east there are many places where she has to abide by their rules of covering her hair. You can still cover your hair in europe but hiding your face no. wearing a veil while driving should be illegal just like talking or texting while driving is.

Well, as you can see in the video, there are a lot women who do cover up themselves just to please their Creator.

This is because, there are clear evidences for it in the two main sources of Islam:

The Quran, God's unchanged word since 1400 years, and the Sunnah, the authentic overdelivery of what the last prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) did and said.

Therefore as they are Muslims (somebody who submits to the will of God) they cover up like this, because God wants them to do so.

And who knows best, what the perfect way to live for the creation is? Of course the Creator.

In this case one can realize easily the wisdom of it. It supports the morality and modesty of individuals and the whole society!

Have you considered that maybe God has not created such beautiful females to please all men, but only their husbands and family?
