I was leaning toward McCain/Palin until I heard her speak, especially when she said that she has foreign policy experience because she could see Russia from Alaska. As an analyst for a fortune 500 company, if I applied for another position and used the logic that Palin used, they would have asked for my resignation immediately! I noticed that her syntax and semantics are off as well, and she is unable to express simplistic, logical thoughts. She is woefully unqualified for VP of the USA.

First of all every situation is different. Bringing a child into the world is something that cant be done hastily. Do you know how many young women have babies everyday and have no way to take care of these babies so they either abandon them emotionaly or physically? Or what about when they end up abusing the babies? Adoption isnt always plausible option either. When a 12year old is carrying her fathers baby should adoption be the answer? Or if a woman is attacked what should she do?
When a woman gets raped, it is an assault on her purity and an abortion is an assault on her maternity. A woman is violated against her will and then she should turn around and violate her unborn child against it's will? About 80% choose to have the baby as they do not believe that taking an innocent life will make their rape experience easier to deal with. I believe God uses evil for a greater good. This is where we will continue to disagree. Understand that not everyone believes in God. So therefore not everyone has an issue with abortion for religious reasons. Obama being supportive a womans right to choose has nothing to do with his personal relationship with God. Religion is his personal choice and he cant force his belifs on others. So it is a good chance that we may at some point have a person be of a faith that is not main stream and if that is the case they shouldnt be disqualified for that position based soley on their religious beliefs. That Constitution we all love so much protects the rights of the unborn child if the pregnant mother is shot in the stomach by her husband and the baby dies. He would go to jail for murder. But if the mother walks into an abortion clinic without telling the father then she can legally take the baby's life. Why is it only right when the mother decides to take the babies life? She can take away the babies right to choose life.

First of all every situation is different. Bringing a child into the world is something that cant be done hastily. Do you know how many young women have babies everyday and have no way to take care of these babies so they either abandon them emotionaly or physically? Or what about when they end up abusing the babies? Adoption isnt always plausible option either. When a 12year old is carrying her fathers baby should adoption be the answer? Or if a woman is attacked what should she do?

A woman is violated against her will and then she should turn around and violate her unborn child against it's will? This is where we will continue to disagree. Understand that not everyone believes in God. So therefore not everyone has an issue with abortion for religious reasons. Obama being supportive a womans right to choose has nothing to do with his personal relationship with God. Religion is his personal choice and he cant force his belifs on others. If Palin wasn't so arrogant to think she can actually run the country I would feel sorry for her. As it is, the GOP are preparing her for Thursday's debate, & from her interviews w/Gibson & Couric she's going to crash & burn. Let's face it, Biden's a foreign policy expert & was recently called upon by Georgia to help in a treaty w/Russia, which Biden went over there to help. What does this tell you?

McCain has ran his campaign on foreign policy but he thinks Putin is the President of Germany, that Zapatero (NATO ally) is from Latin America, he doesn't know the Iran shias from the Iraqi sunnis, & doesn't know who the leader of Iran is. The ol' fart doesn't even sound lucid to me & picking Palin as his VP shows his first important decision was negligent. Americans better get it right this time.

Palin still has more experience running something than Obama. And not all the animals are dead in Alaska or any other state she's been to so far. What will Obama do when he is president? He'll squander the taxpayers money to send over seas to his step-brother who lives in a hut, and lives on less than a dollar a day. MeanwhileOBama is sitting in his million-dollar home that bernie and freedie mac gave him a loan for. Why didn't he just use some of that money to help out his brother?

Mccain's going to give her one of those micro ear pieces so he can tell her what to say from one of his beach houses. Mccain is going to have an ear piece too, so W. You want to see not qualified? look at Obama. at least Palin has run a state for two yrs, and held a mayor office among others. what has he run? oh, that's right, he was a communtiy organizer. so that makes him much more qualified than her. And same with Biden who has never run anything and even McCain. But at least he has military experience, something that cannot be said of those on the democratic ticket.

Just because she's 'run a state for two years' doesn't mean she has what it takes to be vice president or president. McCain had so many quality repunlicans to choose from and I think he threw away his opportunity to have a running mate who was as experienced as he was.
