We should feel very honored to have been able to live at the same time as Michael and experience Michael Jackson in life. Although I never got to see him in concert or be included in a sighting of him out and about I have always felt him close to me through his music. He still lives deep inside my heart. He always will. I think each of us connect with him is one way or another.

I've not been an MJ maniac for my whole life, but I know a good dancer when I see one, and I knew in my heart, that he was never guilty. I just cannot explain the grief. It hits me like a slow motion tidal wave, knocking the breath out of me. I've lost pets, partents, etc, but NOTHING comes close to this and its ALL OVER THE WORLD. I'm so sad, just so so sad.

To Simetra007 - You took the words right out of my mouth. I don't know where this tremendous sadness is coming from. I've always thought he was REALLY talented but didn't follow him. To be able to create the music, lyrics, and dance the way he could is nothing short of AMAZING! Following his death I started doing some reading on all of the personal trials and tribulations that he dealt with throughout his life. Now I feel like the media robbed him of his life and caused him so much pain.

I hope I dont sound as cheezy as I think I'm going to but oh well here goes. Is there anyone else commenting here who has really felt as though there's a hole in the world now? I mean I felt this deep deep grief come over me like nothing Ive ever experienced before. Im not a maniac or anything, but there's like I dont know this emptiness I feel in the world now. Has anyone else felt like this? Or am I just really bummed out? Its July 4, fireworks are going off but, theres nothing to celebrate.

Simetra...you couldn't have writen down my state of mind better...I feel the same emptiness, the same hole. And altough I have always been a fan...I am not a maniac either. I haven't gone out or felt in the mood to do so...I am in my pain with my MJ souvenirs and thoughts....I always knew that if something happened to him I would be affected, but not this much...I am really suffering...Love him always!
