@moose2llama Who cares about Leviticus!? Those Old Testament injunctions about loving thy neighbor are mere relics of the old, obsolete Covenant that existed prior to Christ's sacrifice. If we were to follow Leviticus, we would have to stay off shellfish and mixed-fibre clothes and various other things considered unclean to the Israelites. But to us Christians, the only rules that matter are the ones outlined in the New Testament, such as the condemnation of gays in Romans 1:26-27.

I don't really get how people can say that God is against gay, bisexual, or transgendered people. If God is the one who made us, doesn't he play a part in who we like or what sexuality we are to some extent? And why would he be against love? Who could be against something so pure? People love other people. Genders should not be an issue.

I have to disagree with your opinion. Indeed politically, you should the same rights as any other person. America is based on equal rights for everyone, (and should work harder in actually employing the idea.) I don't have a problem with gays personally, however, as a Christian, I cannot agree with you here. I believe it is against God's will to practice homosexuality. It's quite plain in the bible. So it's really up to you. If you're not a christian, don't worry about it.
