My family had a '77 Aspen Sedan..it was an upgrade from our previous ugly ass Dodge Dart. The Aspen was a nice car and it was in the family until '90. The only drawback was the awful white "pleather" interior..Holy Crap, talk about burning the skin off your legs in the summer time!
I recall these formed the basis for Chrysler's larger RWD models in the 1980s...
Interestingly, this car, and the Talbot Tagora (developed by Chrysler's European arm), were considered to be potential replacement material for the Australian Chrysler Valiant.

back in the 80's, my friends and I personally put many of these dork machines to death ... they are probably back today as a KIA.

I had the Aspen Wagon, it was a 1978. It was a good car.
