  • AHAHAHAHAHA There team name is Swallows.. Lmao.. Swallows.

  • Asians and there cheat codes

  • jah brah

  • That ball got swallowed!

  • wow

  • Yeah I'm pretty dang sure that's not a legal catch...

  • @RonBurg92

    I bet you´re absolutely right,

    Definition or terms RULE 2.00

A CATCH is the act of a fielder in getting secure possession in his hand or glove of a ball in flight and firmly holding it; providing he does not use his cap, protector, pocket or any other part of his uniform in getting possession...

BTW...Í´m an umpire down here in Los Cabos

  • @realhomosapiens yeah your not an umpire in japan

  • @sk8man369

If I were, I would call it not a legal catch, and this not because I say so but because of the rule I quoted below

  • @realhomosapiens The official rules of Japanese styled baseball are just a tad different. Though I'm really not sure what the ruling should be I feel inclined to point this out.

  • @lewiszim

    Which rules are different?

Rule 2:00 definition of catch is different in Japan? I don´t think so, Base-Ball is Base-Ball is played according to official rules and those rules are dictated by Mayor League Base-Ball committee or rules, down here in Mexico the very same rules are in effect, the same for Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Cuba, etc, etc, etc,

But now that you mentioned it, Which rules have been styled in Japan baseball that are a tad different from the M.L.B offical rules?

  • seriously, is the team name "swallows"? they must take a lot of crap from other teams

  • His face is like''JIZZ IN MY PANTS''

  • ninjutsu man, ninjutsu.

  • zuka kuka toyota,mitsubishi,honda,suzuki,ahhhhhhh,kamikaze,sushi

  • at 1.26 he didn't even know where the ball was

  • @kid4pr I thought it was against the rules to catch the ball with anything but your glove or your bare hand, and that the runner would be awarded second base if it was caught with any part of the uniform. But I guess that's only when it is deliberately caught in that manner.

I still feel like that's a live ball until he gets it out of his shirt. I'm going to have to take a peak at the regulations for Japan.

  • the swallows.

  • Wait how can the player be out? That can't possibly count as a caught ball.

  • @EuclidianProposition well it didnt touch the floor, and once the guy grabbed it that wud count as the catch

  • Less than a foot from hitting his face. Bullet dodged, my man!

  • It kills me wahahahaha

  • sick xDDDD

  • meh saw it coming.. joking wtf how the hell did it get in there

  • does that count as an out?

  • @aileron16 yep its like a catch :D

  • even the ump was like what the hell hahaha awesome catch

  • WTF xD I'd kinda want this to happen in one of my softball matches xD That lucky guy, he could have had some broken bones... I kinda like him XD

  • japs and theyr cheats ....

  • that musyve hurt hid chest

  • that indeed should be an out as long as the player who caught it can get it out and hand it without it hitting the ground first!

  • LOOLLL WTFFF MOMENT IN BASEBALL HISTORY!

But his hand touched the ball to stop it from falling out of his shirt.

and if you want to get technical... the ball didn't touch the ground at all. It ended in his hand. So it is still in all technicalities an American Baseball Ou... oooohhhhh >_>...

Are rules still the same in Japan for Baseball?

  • A shot right to the heart. lol That batter just didn't like that pitcher at all.

  • Sorry but that chinaman is cheating, because he needs to only catch with his gloves, and not with his bare hands or tshirt because that game has rules and you need to use the gloves it is there for a reason.

  • @JesusChristRulesYOU because it fucking hurts if you catch it bare handed?

  • @JesusChristRulesYOU You're fucking stupid. Your comment and your religion.

  • @z0mgz0rs I agree the comment was stupid but do you really have to bring religion into a baseball video comment section? And you call him stupid?

  • i think japanese people always train after/before every game 24/7

  • OMG that was awesome!!!!!

  • did anyone notice they are called swallows?

  • haha the jersey says swallows...

  • lol that was awesome!

  • Kind of ironic the shirt has swallows on it.

  • @tryithere That's not Ironic. It would be Ironic if the shirt read 'Spits' or something that's the opposite of what happened on the field. It's just a funny coincidence.

Sorry, I've seen way too many people use the word 'ironic' incorrectly to not be bothered by it. I hope I didn't offend!

  • @n8dogg87 ironically I don't give a shit.

  • thats why u always tuck ur shirt in

  • So ninja he didn't even know he was ninja.

  • that an out?

  • lol he was like wtf where did it go

  • u take tht off the chest! yea

  • tats the reason why we tuck in our jerseys =P

  • @PokeYourArse it went in through the collar of the shirt...idiot

  • @ElectricTear20 dude u r pure dumbass hes sayin thats why u tuck ur shirt in so the ball doesnt fall out we know it went in the shirt plus there is no collar stuipid fuck!

  • @justinhippy420 wow you're an idiot

  • @ElectricTear20 uh huh sure buddy thats why u coodnt even understand why ppl r sayin thats why u tuck ur shirt in fucking dumbass

  • @justinhippy420 dude you're really arguing for no reason seriously

  • @PokeYourArse It went in throught the button opening

  • This happened to Albert pujols. A pitch landed inside his shirt he took a base. He was at bat btw

  • lol only the japanese, goofy humor. gota love em :)

  • does.. does that shirt say swallows? lmfao

  • is their name the , Swallows?

  • SWALLOWS... lol

  • are they good at baseball

  • FAILLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • Jap. Baseball is actually very good stuff. the one problem the pitch like 2 miles an hour.

  • @ZZIRRICHV2 but they got some nasty junk pitches

  • lol, the team is the swallows.

  • now does that count as a out. becasue ive seen it before where. they let the guy get on base

  • @Codesco2212 the odds of you seing it before are rare... yes its an out.

  • @speedofdark23 it happened in the majors it was all over sports center

  • I like how afterwards the pitcher is just like: "Oh shit. My bad, y'all!"

  • 0:40 "GET IN IN MY BELLAY!!!"

  • this my freinds is why my coach ALWAYS tells me to tcuk my shirt in

  • haha better there then his face

  • HAX!!

  • i saw something like this but the ump had it in his pocket

  • this happened in mlb to

  • Back to the fun part.....

I LOVE the look on the pitcher's face as he tries to locate the ball, and the look when he realizes where it is!

  • is that legal tho?..

  • MLB Rules 2.00

A CATCH is the act of a fielder in getting secure possession in his hand or glove of

a ball in flight and firmly holding it; ***providing he does not use his cap, protector, pocket or any other part of his uniform in getting possession.*** (emphasis added)

The ball was lodged inside his shirt. (Different than bouncing off.) He used his uniform to "get possession". No catch.

  • ye didnt think if was... but then again Japanese baseballs have a few different rules... so it might be fair over there.

  • Isn't the ump premature when calling the out? If, while attempting to remove the ball from his shirt, it dropped to the ground...wouldn't it be a fairball?

  • no it didn't he grabbed it out of the shirt, watch again bud.

  • For those who are saying this is not a catch, you've never seen a ball hit a cap, uniform, or protector into a glove without touching the ground in MLB? If yes, was it called out? If out, what's the difference with this one? The pitcher secures the ball in the end in this one too, you know. Does the MLB rule book say something like "a ball can't stay in anywhere else but a glove for longer than 1.7 seconds?"

  • the guy ran with the bat

  • sick ass swing!

  • i think i know y they r the Swallows. (corny)

  • 11日に引退したお花かお疲れさん

this pitcher just retired 4 days ago.

  • i thought he got hit in the balls lol XD

  • 1 in a million catch there LOL great stuff!!!

  • if i saw a fluk like that happen I would call an out in shock

  • You guys do know it's a different league so perhaps the rules are different? Yeah...

  • "Swallows" Gross

  • yah but eventually he got it in his HAND when he would be have made the "catch" and the runner would be out.

  • I know in the MLB you can only catch with your hand or glove and no hats or shirts etc...

So I'm not sure if he would actually be out.

  • well if the ball doesn't touch the ground before he gains control it's an out

  • But the rules say you can't catch it with all the stuff I said. I know what you're saying, but the rule would be contradicting.

  • IIKeR

Check rule 2.00 definition of term what a catch it´s all about, this in not a legal catch, so the batter it´s not out

  • IIKeR

The Umpire made a huge mistake not umpiring by the official rules

  • IIKer

A CATCH is the act of a fielder in getting secure possession in his hand or glove of a ball in flight and firmly holding it; providing he does not use his cap, protector, pocket or any other part of his uniform in getting possession.

Now you know the rule make the "right" call.

    Chuy
