OMG i play viola too and there are only like three violas in my orchestra, there are like barely any violas! I hate feeling alone! In my honors orchestra, i was the ONLY viola, so my parts got a bit harder...Lol. VIOLA ROCKS! better that violin anyways....

KoRnisgud, as someone switching from Violin TO Cello, it just made me laugh that you want to do the opposite. Depending on what grade you are in, you may want to stay with cello. In high school, celli get the most beautiful melodies to back up the violins.
