Another example of the general public taking unnecessary risks, lol. Leave this kind of stuff to BASE jumpers/Rock Climbers. I take calculated risks when I skydive and fly aerobatic airplanes, but I would never be such an idiot to do something like this.
I've been there and have a picture sitting off of it; crap is it scary; it makes y ou want to jump. it's weird. Also this is the visor not the diving board. it's a mistake that happens a lot.

Ummm.... That's the Visor on Half Dome. The Diving Board is down below, on the west shoulder. Check a topographic map:
Check Mytopo.com, and search lat/long for 37.742, -119.539
