Correction--Pacquiao fought Hatton at Jr Welterweight for Hatton's title. It was not at a "catch weight". The fight with Cotto with will be the first time either Cotto or Pacquiao have fought at a catch weight in their careers.

If Pac stops Cotto I would ber very surprised. Since Cotto's move to 147lbs, he has fought Mosley, Carlos Q, Margarito, Zab & Clottey. There is no way in hell that Pac stops him! Mosley and Margarito are really 154lbs-ers and Cotto stood up to them. I think Cotto's fight with Clottey will prove harder than the one with Manny. Diaz is a bum. Oscar is shot. Hatton is 1D. Cotto will outbox and counter-punch Pac to a 12 round close decision with the chance of a KO somewhere along the way.

nice vid man, actually we have the same prediction in this fight, i also think that manny pacquiao will win this by stoppage, we all know that miguel cotto has a strong chin BUT his face is very soft, evrytime he fight he always have a cut and a boxer like manny who has power, speed, great footwork, fast head movement and great stamina i think cotto is going to have a bad cut in different part of his face like wat pac did to diaz, i don't know what round but its a stoppage win by PACMAN!

manny feels his opponants put in the first three round yes hes agressive and still throws a lot early but one of his main objectives is to feel out his opponents power. thats what hell do with cotto. hell pepper him down with A LOT of hard and quick punches first... this will tire cotto so in the later round his puch wont be as hard. thats when manny will go toe to toe and finish him off. look at the de la hoya fight pacquaio didnt go toe 2 toe with oscar till the 6th and 7th round.

I agree with what you said about speed,movement & stamina.

I just think Cotto knows how to control a fighter,look how he tamed mosley and controlled judah who both of which I feel hit harder and are faster in hand speed than pacquiao but I am worried about pacquiao's fearless attitude of throwing punches in bunches and if that will bother miguel or will miguels precision get to manny with counters.

Cotto is notorious for disfiguring his opponents faces and bodies,can he make manny respect him?

i would like manny to win as a fan of his,I am at heart with miguel I cant help it so if he loses I will be hurt more emotionally.

I think cotto defeats pacquiao,this is his first opponent in years that he will be bigger than and cotto is a very underrated boxer,his talents as a boxer are matched or surpassed by likes of mosley or floyd.
