hey um i'm learning hiragana for now then katakana after but do i really have to learn kanji as well? how many alphabets do japanese people want to use?

@Uatemydoodle It's good to learn Kanji. It sucks, trust me but so much stuff in Japan is in Kanji, it's pretty much required. Lving here in Japan, knowing some Kanji, is better than knowing none.

OH MY GOD! I have studied all three of those Kanji in my books, so I basically had a seizure seeing all three of them here together. I of course don't know what they mean or how to pronounce then, but it still put a smile on my face to know my studying isn't completely for nothing.  :)
