  • I have had RSD for over 10 years and POSITIVE DISTRACTION is the only way to survive with it. I don't take pills and haven't for years....I play the drums as a distraction. I find doing ANYTHING THAT REQUIRES a specific outcome; like playing music in a band or folding laundry, is a great distraction.

  • I've had CRPS for about 3 years now. I'm 26 years old, and I'm still going. I'm not in remission, I still undertake active treatment. I still suffer - but I'm not taking medication anymore. I'm going to have a normal life, no matter how much it hurts :)

  • good RSD video.

Having suffered with RSD for 14 yrs I can relate.

I was nearly wheelchair bound until my son pushed me to get on a home PT program 3 yrs ago. Exercise is crucial w/ RSD! Painful but necessary. I do not think RSDers can live without meds however. I could not get through my PT w/out my meds.

I think you must have gone into remission. That would allow you to get by w/out any pain meds. Deep relaxation and distraction are good tools for RSDers. thanks for the video (^;^)
