  • Which cadenza?

  • this is music!!!!!!

  • Simply beautiful.... it is as good as the mood brought out in his concerto 21 for piano 10 years later...:D

  • The slow movements in Mozart's violin concertos is possibly the most beautiful in the whole concerto repertoire - all solo instruments included...

  • @lehar not to forget his piano concerto 21 second movement :P

  • "could have fallen straight from heaven" - Alfred Einstein

  • @v21e Alfred?

  • One of the most exquisite movements in all classical music - deifnitely something of heaven in this...and Perlman's sound is sweetness incarnate.

  • he plays it havenly

  • Good to see these guys are still going strong! Which goes to prove that in this world you can count on nothing,if you can't count on some guy with a fiddle playing mozart.....!

  • Well done! Mozart is good for rheumatism, bronchitis, political depression, religious fanaticism, existentialism, Europeanism, sex, insomnia, amnesia, anger, skin-disease, alopesia, deafness, blindness, lack of kindness and the desire to kick all poets. He is also good for other things, but I can't just recount them all. And this rendering of K216 hits the button everytime. Recommendable to patients and doctors alike.

  • lol

  • @sebreathnach

    Absolutely right!

  • @sebreathnach

    Even for Cartesian skepticism?

  • Instruments perfecto, sound full, timing impeccaile, players de profundis. Results? Magic most melllllifflououououousssssss....! Cheers!

  • I was looking for Jehudi Menuhin playing K216 Adagio; but this is such a wonderful recording.... Thank you!
