  • it's always advisable to by a power strip for DJs so it dosnt short or damage doesnt happen to your aquipment

  • you also can snip the black mechanism thats my way

  • I didn't actually know that 2 pin connectors would work with a 3 pin plug :\

  • SPAGETIII JUNCTION FTW :D !!!!!

  • I connect my desk , mixer, and serato scrach live to the other mixer of the other desk,

From my main out to input of theirs by RCA cable, but i dont know why there is some dirty sound come from background like eeeeeeeee. Not really good sound . And i can not play it .

    Anyone know why ?

  • @SuperDaBao

Its that simple, the most common problem would be the cables (buy new ones they're cheap), 2nd thing is the speakers are they powerfull enough or they might be damaged somewhere or some speaker cable too, 3rd would be the mixer ...

  • @SuperDaBao did you ground your tables??? your serato???? is it on phono or line on your mixer???? if phono switch to line

  • Forgot the biggest thing!!! shorter cables!!!

  • nice video. Please check out my cable management tool called the cablecloak here on youtube. Could be useful for DJ's...Thx

  • Maplins in UK do velcro cable ties. Really easy to put on and take off. can connect a couple together to hold cables round stands, etc. cables all cables out of way.

  • I love this guy. A naturally good teacher. He makes is simple and easy to understand.

  • check out the cablecloak for your dj setup/breakdown. It will keep your wires together so that all you will need to do is plug in your devices, and when your done, just roll up your wires and put away! its that easy! the cablecloak on ebay!

  • why dont you just snap an elastic band and tie it round the cables because then you can untie then easily

  • i do that thanks it really works pm me i,m doing a gig tonight i might put it on you tube

  • on those cable ties on the square bit at the end there is a little like leaver type thing so when its locked u ise a pin or knife and just move it down so its not catching on the ridges to keep it locked so u can simply open and close them if you get me =]

  • good vid J!

you can use Velcro strips,I got that idea from the computer techs at work. It works good.

  • You could also use PVC tape (electritions tape) which is just as good as cable ties but easier to remove.

  • The best way to tidy my cables I use a custumized size cables from my CDJ's to my mixer. I have them about 1.5" longer then the distance I need to get them connected.

  • witch is the best make speaker to go for

  • if you live in the us, and you need "cable ties" look at like staples or a local drug store for "zip ties"

  • thankz 4 the hint!

  • I think it's called a zip tie cause it zips

  • what a bloody knob!

  • i see you are not using european decks what are they like do you need a converter

  • i never ever snip in to cabils just bye some snipers

  • nice one

  • ive seen quite a few of his vids now and i am seriously impressed. It really makes a difference and covers a range of abilities. A lot of useful ideas and i hope you keep them coming Jonathon ;)

  • not being cheeky but you would have to be fucking stupid not to know how to do this, aint rocket science. exactly what u said use your head, why didnt you do that.?

  • @DjStatiCo ...lol

  • Velcro ties work even better. Easier to put on take off.

  • John are those 3pin or 2 pin sockets? and what does wales normally use?

    DJMattyf

  • Velcro ties work just as well, if not better in some cases.

  • Check my response to this video. I talk about using velcro ties. Good to hear someone else uses them too.
