Ladies, this dvd is a "must-have". The explanation for techniques was thorough and very easy to understand. At this point in my "pole dancing addiction" I have purchased quite a few dvds and this is by far the best. The strength training section is a highly appreciated bonus.

Is there a weight limit on pole dancing. I'm 180 and I was trying to learn pole dancing to surprise my hubby, but I can't jump for fear that I'm so heavy the pole will probably fall on me, and the pole weight limit is 220 lbs, but I guess it's just for dancing around it if I'm too fat. Any advice?

I teach at a studio and I can assure you even more voluptuous ladies are able to learn to pole dance and have a blast doing it. I encourage you to give it a try! I know a student who took classes, lost weight, gained confidence, and did a suprise performance for her husband on their honeymoon! You can do it :)
