Well Dayum...I said stuff that had already been said...so no "value" information added...but I will say...Zach and Doni worked their "asses off" YES...Zach was in GWAR for a bit...and Rise Against is HUGE and relevant...he deserves every ounce of success he's got...he's earned it...as has Doni...in the Toadies !....just my opinion, but an accurate one !

YES indeed Zach was in this band...now with Rise Against and his brother is now in The Toadies...his brother being the bass player in this video...great guys, great live act, THEY should have been as big as Green Day...as it was from the heart and gut ROCK...not "contrived" feeling as Green Day !

I saw these guys at a small KC bar back in the early 90s I think. Frickin awesome!

The drummer did his cool spinning sticks thing while the lead singer spit loogies into the air and caught them on his or his bandmates' jackets.

I liked these guys so much that I contemplated hosting them in my house to get them to come back and play again. But then I decided they'd probably trash my house! Buick Men is a gR8 disc.

ZAch, the guitarist, Plays for Rise Against. Doni, the Bass player, plays for The Toadies and another band called the Mag Seven and hes still rockin up around Amarillo and Dallas. As for the drummer and singer...no idea.

This does bring back memories. I rocked the big ole "Hagfish Rocks Your Lame Ass!" sticker on my car for years back in the day. Seen them live too many times to count, from little clubs in Ft Worth like Madhatters and The Crossing to plenty of clubs in Deep Elum. Great guys who always put on a great show!

I used to drive down from Fort Hood to see these guys at EMO'S in Austin back in 94/95. I remember they were late opening for Babes in Toyland b/c there van broke down. Loved watching them play live. "Hagfish rocks your lame ass!" -Still have this bumper sticker.

Hagfish back in the day used to have a thing where everyone would spit on them. Shit would be dripping off their faces,and everything else.They got signed finally and they decided to put an end to the spitting. One night at Rick's up in denton we started spitting and Tony got pissed, he grabbed a bucket of water and started on a dead run towards my buddy, tripped and ended up drenching a chick by the front of the stage. Saw them at least 50 times even at Stempy's (what a shithole).
