Obama wrong for Iraq? I served in that war twice, and I think Obama's right. We need to leave Iraq and focus on Afghanistan. Plus, we can't afford the war in Iraq anymore. Iraq and Afghanistan have nothing to do with each other, McCain is deluded. I need a job and I haven't been able to get one since I've been out of the Navy and back in NY. I apply everyday, but it's hard since the economy needs to be fixed. McCain says he knows how to win wars, I know he can survive a war, but not win it.

I think that the fundemantal issue to be looked at this election is foreign policy. Mccain to me seems to want to simply do the same as bush except on a greater scale. No matter how he paints this the real issue is that the republican party has made a mistake and they don't want to admit it so they chose mccain who was willing to play ball. He reminds people of past speeches that have been given before in order to reiterate his point. Theres a difference. He memorized a 45 minute speech for his acceptance speech at the democratic convention. Mccain can't even memorize a 5 minute speech at this side event. the iraq war is a complete disaster and afghanistan is a different country and a different war. you can not take your strategy from this so called 'success' in iraq and apply it to afghanistan. cos it wont work. deploying more troops dosent necessesarily mean you are going to win a war.

There is no such thing as taxing big corporations. All "big corporations" have shareholders that are you and me. All big corporations will simply pass on the tax increases to the consumers, again, that is you and me. If you took anything beyonf pol science 101, you would know this.

There is overvestment in eductation. Econometric studies have found no link between increasing education spending and level of education. Learn some facts.

Watch the first 30 seconds. Does John McCain have any public speaking skills? He is messing up on his own speech, which he has probably practiced 10 times. Have you ever seen Obama mess up on his speech before? I would not believe you if you said so. Obama thinks on his feet. And speaks more effectively. I have only seen one speech where Barack read off a paper. That was the speech from Jordan. However, it does not sound like he is reading, right of the paper.
