I have to disagree with you with no.3. The sharing of food. I find this to be very uncomfortable. I'd rather just order my own food and eat it individually. But that's just how I feel and my personal preference when its about eating.
I like how most things in Seoul are 24/7 (At least on the weekends). For example: I can go hit some balls at the batting cages across the street from my favorite bar at 2AM. It's the little things...
about the pickles/kimchi that come along with pasta..i think it's because for many older people, and to some extent even many young koreans think that western food like pasta and pizza is too greasy and it makes them feel bit awful after taking several spoons and forks. It doesn't mean they don't like the taste(if they did, then why would you order it in the first place lol), but they just think there's too much grease, so they want to...in a way balance it out by eating some vegetables.
I really don't think corn on pizza is a Korean thing. I live in Europe and corn on pizza is totally normal here as well. I'm surprised it's not a common thing in the US... O.o
Well let me explain the pickles and kimchi. Pasta and pizza are made with flour and yeast. The traditional Korean diet use rice, rice is very easy to digest it's gluten free. Pickled veges are used as a digestive aid, and it works. Korean's, and other cultures are not use to flour in their diet use kimchi and pickles..could be one of the reason why they have great metabolisms.
haha! i love the buzzer system in korea , #2,3 &4 is totally awesome about korea and we do got #3 in the states here in NY/NJ &CA alot of the korean restaurants we share our meals as well as cook them on the tables., i can agree with you on #5 i seen some wierd combos of stuff in korea including bananas served with MAYO instead of cream ,YUCKKKK, corn pizza ,i got use to it though
I only had a chance to live in Korea for 4 months, and I made very similar observations. Great video, very good information, I 100% agree. It made me miss Korea ㅜㅜ 감사합니다
I think these are great! Especially as someone who has never been to Korea, but is about to go to Korea... Lists like these help make me more aware of what I can look for once I get there :)
The pickles in Korean Italian restaurants are a substitute for 단무지 and other 반찬. If you haven't noticed, most Koreanized foreign restaurants usually feature a certain type of 반찬-y sidedish, depending on the type of cuisine (Italian, Japanese, Chinese).

your video reminded me... heres an idea for how you can continue making korea-related videos in the states... you need to hit up various Korean restaurants / Koreatowns in the US. Also, some of these K-towns are very good depictions of life in Korea, but without the requirement to speak Korean.
1. The Walmart stores around my area in the states have Umbrella Condoms.
2. If you are a minority and you only hang around them all the time you feel like the majority.
3. It's easy to drop out of existence from everyone else if you stop putting in the effort to participate.
4. If you reflect back on your earlier days you realize how all the good things and bad things (abuse & neglect from parents, school, friends, family) have made you into the person you are.
I loved your videos.

I live in Silicon Valley, CA:
1. Google will eat your life like it ate all of Mountain View.
2. Never buy a t-shirt or pen - they're free at every event, almost
3. There are restaurants of at least 6 different Asian cultures within a mile of my house. Plus Western ones, as well.
4. No one will greet me in Korean at the Korean market.
5. Korean housewives love to talk to me (a Westerner) about Korean food and cooking at the market. They are very impressed that I make my own kimchi.

Here is a few more from my time in Korea.
Greeters in some parking garages to help you in and out.
Demonstrators and workers that actually assist you in the supermarkets and shopping stores.
No plexi dividers in cabs- safe because of gun laws?
No big deal if you pull over on the highway to take a whiz.
